Wen 2800 duel fuel generator - great so far
The media could not be loaded. I purchased the Wen 2800 watt dual fuel based strictly on specs as I wasn't able to find a single review here or anywhere else online about this particular model. I've now completed the 8-hour break-in period using propane only and so far it's been flawless. Starts up around the 3rd pull, runs smooth, all outlets and features work as expected, etc. Haven't yet exceeded a 50% load as required during the break-in, but no problems with output so far. Pleased with the noise level as well, it runs quieter than I had expected. So far so good! The only negative or drawback is that it's a bit bigger/bulkier and heavier than I imagined it'd be. 45 lbs isn't a lot for a gen, but living with a lower back injury a set of wheels and handle would've been appreciated to help move it around easier. Still for just over $400 it seems like a good deal for 2800 starting/2000 running watts on propane, which is a higher power output than most in its class. Overall happy with this purchase so far.

Great quality, lightweight generator.
For the first time I lost power at my home due to hurricane Milton. No power for several days. A whole house generator was out of my budget, so after a little research the need for a low wattage generator to run some of the basic items (refridgerator, fan, power for cell phones) this generator fit the bill. Although I purchased after the storm it'll come in handy when the need arises. The reasonable price, fast shipping was a plus. Hope to never have to use it, but good to know I have it.

Worth The Price
Heavier than I thought it would be. Weighs about the same as a 5 gallon jug of water. Seems well made and fired right up following the quick start instructions for propane. Haven’t tried gasoline yet. Features are well marked. Recoil cord pulls fairly easy. Pretty quiet but not noiseless. Much quieter than a full size gas generator. I ran it off a 20lb propane cylinder with the included regulator. After running about 45 minutes the cylinder seemed not to have lost much weight. Propane supplier says it can be attached to our 100lb tank with a gas grill set up for about $400.

Great generator for a great value!
After doing some research, I settled on this generator because it has everything that I wanted (runs on gasoline or propane, inverter/quiet, USB and 12 volt charging plugs, etc.) and because of the price. It did not come with an hour meter but I was able to add one for $10. I'm in the process of breaking in the generator now and will update my review with any issues if they come up. Very happy with my purchase.

An oily mess, sputtering engine
I received the generator with a lot of oil all over the outside of it (not quite as bad as the other reviewer had received). I tried to clean it up a bit and then tried using it for a while. The engine sputters a lot and never evens out. I’m going to return it and get a Honda like I should’ve done in the first place.

Excellent little generator
This is an excellent little unit runs and starts easy puts out good power. To the dummy’s that are complaining about the oil bad news all generators come that way it’s to protect it during storage prior to purchase. ( someone may have gotten a little happy with it)Secondly all new generators sputter during the break in period I have a 900 dollar one and it sputtered a little till I got to 10 hours. This unit sputtered till it got to 5 hours then evened out. Gotta let them break in folks.

Inverter generator
I live in tornado alley in Kansas. I wanted a quiet, dual fuel inverter generator for use in emergency power failure situations

Ok. Fuel efficient. But 2000 watts max. Would buy larger.
2000 watts running on propane. Runs ragged for 5 minutes when cooling down from being on line. Puzzling??? Runs good with a load or upon starting. Get the magnetic dipstick. It does collect metal dust from the engine. Be sure of the size. The one they listed as "customers also buy with purchase" is not the right one. I would get a 4000 watt if I could do over. 4000 would probably be 3000 watts running anyway.
