The warm mist feature doesn't seem to work very well but the cool mist does. Easy to fill and refill, easy to clean. It isn't loud but I used it in my kitchen to try to humidify my plant area, so I can only imagine sleeping would be no problem as it wasn't loud.

We absolutely love this humidifier and use it in our daughter's room every night.It's extremely easy to clean compared to the one we used to have, which was made for kids and you could never get certain spots. This one though is so easy especially with the brush they provide. The open top design is amazing! Filling it is a breeze! It's not a mist which is great, it's water vapor and we really like that you can choose how much humidity you need or you can choose Auto which keeps the room in a certain humidity "window". It's also great piece of mind that is it runs out of water it shuts itself off to prevent any issues. So for it being in our 3 year olds room it's a comfort having that feature. The timer works really well and the night light is such a great touch. I mean it's all in 1 for us between the humidifier and night light. We us filter water but our water is hard so we use those things (sorry I forget what they are called) that help keep "clean". We wash it about once a week or as needed and I just use some vinegar and water and the little brush and a bottle brush for the long tub part. It's really very easy to clean. It's a great value for the money. So happy with this!

Bought this humidifier October 28th. Worked ok for a few months. Come February, it is starting to leak from the base. It started as a small leak now It is leaking a lot. Since I'm out of warranty I decided to take it apart and see where it is leaking to possibly fix. It's leaking from the vapor channel. Which also caused it to get wet on the circuit board. Going to trash it. There is no way to repair it without replacing the heating element and other conponents. I got 4 months out of this and honestly it didnt work well to begin with. It either flowed very little or absolutely drenched the wall and floor of my room. Advice to all buyers. Clean the machine EVERY TIME you fill up or else you will get mold. I bought 2 machines one for my bedroom and one for my daughters. She didn't take care of it and it had a lot of mold accumulated. Take the time and buy a more reputable machine.

I really wanted to like this product- it had so many things going for it- warm/cool mist, large tank, removable water tank. It's easy to fill with a wide top and really puts out the mist on high.HOWEVER, the heater doesn't work -so there goes the "warm mist" and I have to surround the humidifier with a towel or my carpet is damp after a night of running the humidifier. It's been 3 days of use - one more night & I'm exchanging this model.ROUND 2 update (12/30/2024): exchanged the model and had exactly the same problem- the heater just never produces anything beyond room temp mist, certainly not warm. It seems if I want warm mist in the air to soothe my sore throat and open air passages, I am better off with a vaporizer. I read a thorough review on the Vicks brand comparing vaporizers and humidifiers and will be going back to a bare bones version. This humidifier is fine if your concern is a dry home and you plan ahead to prevent damage from the moisture underneath. For illness, I really need warmth.

I am very happy with this humidifier, it has a large capacity and can meet the needs of the whole day, it is silent and perfect for the children's room. It can be adjusted in four levels and shows the humidity in the room. I like to set it to the automatic humidification level. I highly recommend it!

I liked everything about it but the warm mist is not working I am so mad cuz I am pregnant and sick with cold and sore throat so I needed to use this today before I get worse but then the warm mist is not working so disappointing and wasting time I wish saw the reviews

This is a very nice machine, stylish, has automatic control fir humidity, hot and cold. Large tank lasts 24 hours+I'm very impressed

If you have it right near your bed it does blow a good amount of mist though I don’t know how effective it is as my humidity stays around 22%. The “automatic meter” is totally off. It ALWAYS says 47%-48% whether it’s on all day or just turned on, whatever location. 2 stars because it’s quiet.Also, like a lot of the reviews say, it10000000% does NOT do warm mist. Even if you start with warm water.
