/skin regimen/ LX Polypeptide Rich Cream, Anti-aging Firming Rich Cream, 50 mlI absolutely love this product!It is indeed very thick- at first I almost thought it would be too heavy for day time but it didn’t take long for my thirsty skin to take it all in… especially since the Midwest weather turned frigid. I will reiterate that I already have a dry/dehydrated skin type so between having the heat on & exposure to harsher elements this product works well for me.Since it is on the pricier side, I have a tendency to hold it to higher standards.The jar is smaller than average so I’ll see how long it lasts.I’d love to continue use at least for the winter months.

Having tried and liked skin care products from /skin regimen/Lx before, I figured I couldn't go wrong with this Polypeptide Rich Cream from them.This cream is certainly more than I bargained for... It is very thick, too heavy for the daytime, but perfect as the last step in a skincare routine before bedtime. It is very luxurious to apply, so dense and creamy that it feels lovely going on... And then, at least for me, it felt heavy and slightly greasy. Patience here is required, it will eventually absorb and leave the skin feeling supple and soft.There is no added fragrance in the formulation, but there are a lot of perfuming ingredients in it. At least six of them known to be potential irritants to those with sensitive skin, like geraniol, linalool, and citronellol. The scent itself is complex, unique and a bit frustrating to me, only because I can't distinguish what it is... There is definitely some juniper mixed with floral, then some spiciness and then... It's crazy but to me it smells like a new baby doll, I guess I'm thinking latex somehow. Don't get me wrong, I actually like the scent alot, but it is highly unusual to me.Moving on, this cream has some lovely skin friendly ingredients, like shea butter, soybean oil, tocopherol, squalene, glycerin and ecotoin. That is a virtual powerhouse of ingredients meant to hydrate, soothe, diminish fine lines and repair and strengthen the moisture barrier. I have been using it for only a week, once nightly, and I'm already seeing a difference in the plumpness / firmness of my skin.Moreover it's a beautiful moisturizing cream with tons of helpful botanicals and other natural ingredients, but I do wish that it did not have so many perfuming extracts in it. This cream is currently selling at $109 for a 1.77 Oz jar. Considering the thoughtful formulation that is 98.3% natural origin ingredients and how well it is performing, I do find that price reasonable.

I am a big skincare enthusiast and enjoy discovering new products. This was my first time trying this brand. This is also one of the more expensive skincare products I've tried. The cream arrived well packaged in a box and was in pristine condition. It is 1.77oz in size. The texture is thick and rich. However, once applied to the skin, the face just feels like there is moisture from the inside, without oily residue. I did not see fragrance as a separate ingredient in the ingredient list but it does contain many floral/herbal extracts that give it a gentle herbal scent. This cream layers well and just a little bit is enough to make the skin look visibly plump and hydrated. I'm excited that this is a polypeptide cream - ingredients which diminish fine lines. My biggest concern is nasolabial folds so this is where I typically apply a thicker layer of product. I'm excited to keep using the cream and monitor for further changes/improvements.

This is a thick, rich cream - way too heavy a product for daytime usage - for me at least. I cannot stand anything feeling greasy on my skin through the day, and it often causes a few spots.So I’ve been using it as a night cream, and hoping that i won’t get any zits. It’s thick and rich - very luxurious feel to it, and i do like the faint scent. It smoothes into my skin nicely, but as i said - it feels a bit greasy, and does not instantly absorb. I can’t handle that feeling during the day, but night time, when I’m asleep, well we’ll see. So far so good, there have been no spots, pustules or blackheads. I’m not noticing any irritation or redness either. Skin feels plump, hydrated and moist.If i am supposed to be seeing a decrease in wrinkles, I’m not seeing anything as of yet, but it’s only been a little while of using it, and I’ve barely touched the contents - it doesnt take much to cover my face and neck. All in all, it’s pretty good, and as winter is upon us, with its awfully dry air, I suspect I’ll be enjoying using it even more.

I like to give a product time to do what it claims so after several weeks I am ready to make my opinion. I love this product! It is a thick cream and a little goes a long way. The product absorbs nicely into the skin leaving it feeling soft and plump. Does not irritate my sensitive skin and seems to have improved the small lines around my eyes slightly. My only drawback is the cost, however, for such a quality product, I highly recommend it.
