I don't usually write reviews but this product set deserves one! I have been looking for a face wash and moisturizer for many years and have tried all the main street brands such as Clinique, Kiehls and even the high end brands such as La Prairie but this exfoliating face wash by Elvy Lab's is by far the best. I have been using this for the last month and my skin feels fresh and radiant (I am a 38 year old man). I even get compliments at work! I am a 38 year male but this definitely makes me look younger. The 4 part set including face wash, serum, moisturizer and eye cream make the skin care routine a walk in the park!

Smells ok, Leaves skin soft. I do not notice any dryness or itchiness. Rinses well without leaving skin oily or greasy

After having the chance to use the Step 1 cleanser for a few weeks, I failed to see a big reason to become a continued user, or to venture beyond the first step and try out the rest of the brand's product offerings.Like some of the other reviews mention, the tube arrived on its own and references an insert that does not exist. Nevertheless, I was able to find the full list of ingredients on the company's website:DI Water (Aqua), Sodium Lauroyl Methylisethionate, Lactic acid, Glycolic acid, Vaccinum Myrtillus Fruit Extract, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugarcane) Extract, Citric acid, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Acer Saccharum (Sugar Maple) Extract, Tartaric acid, Mallic acid, Propanediol, Sodium Lauroyl Oat Amino acids, Glycerin, Betaine Salicylate, Caffeine, Menthol, Polyquaternium-10, Caprylyl Glycol, Methyl Propanediol, FragranceI didn't see anything particularly concerning in the list, and after extended use my sensitive skin did not have any adverse reaction. On the contrary, I found that the cleanser gave a good balance between exfoliation and gentleness. In other words, it does what it says it's supposed to do. Another plus is the pump, which dispenses a controllable amount of liquid and allowed me to get no more or less than I wanted to every use.

We were very excited to try this but when it arrived with no safety seal on it nor any kind of instructions, just a round bottle that had leaked all over the place, we weren't about to.Understanding that some beauty products are normally sold this way was of little comfort since we want to know what is inside what we are putting on our skin.

This exfoliating AHA face wash works ok on my son's face, he's 14 years old and has acne problems. I am hoping this helps. It doesn't really exfoliate since the wash is creamy-ish. He has been using it for a few days, it doesn't irritate his skin. This is fairly early on with usage, I am giving it 2 stars for now because of a few issues I have. The problem that I have with this face wash is that I received it without the outer box. The instructions says to refer to the box for warning, WHAT warning are they referring to? There was no ingredients listed for this on the bottle itself. There really isn't much info overall on if there is really AHA/BHA or any glycolic acid since I can't verify it. This can be scary since I have no way of knowing what is exactly in this face wash.

This is a nice cleanser that comes with a super nice cleaner price tag. It comes in a little pump bottle and dispenses easily. It's a lovely, lightweight liquid with a serum like consistency that has a mild, citrus scent that's not at all unpleasant. It has a light lather, but leaves my skin feeling clean, refreshed and soft without stripping my face off. I like the product, but I will say that I have a sink-side full of comparable cleansers at lower price points. It's also impossible to determine how much product is left in the bottle because the labeling covers it entirely. I took off a star for the luxury product price tag, but if it were a bit less expensive I'd have given it five.

This face wash is part of a minimalist step-by-step set of skincare products designed to make it easy for men to care for their skin. My husband isn't one to use fancy products or take good care of his skin, but he was willing to try this out and he really liked it. I tried it also, and I feel like it could be a great product for women's skincare as well. It doesn't have a strong masculine scent, rather smells more like a clinical skincare product, which is appropriate. Glycolic acid is a great ingredient that does a great job cleaning out pores, so it's great for acne and clearing up skin bumps, and this has other nice ingredients also. We both really love the dispenser, as it's nice quality and has a pump that dispenses just enough product to wash your face each time. No mess, it stays nice and tidy, and the product doesn't get contaminated with air exposure or fingers. I'm going to try to talk my husband into trying out the whole line of Elvy products, since they seem designed to work together, and it's not a fussy or complicated system. His skin looks and feels softer using this product. We like it.
