Great for cooking large meals.
Made from durable stainless steel, which ensures even heat distribution and prevents hot spots. Comes with a matching stainless-steel lid to lock in moisture and flavor. Suitable for all types of cooktops, including induction, gas, electric, and ceramic. The stainless-steel surface is easy to clean and maintain. I love mine and plan to buy more in the future.

Works well for me
This is pretty good quality, I fried fish and fixings in it over a propane burner for a few hours and didn't really have any of the burn and scorching that sometimes happens with cheaper quality metals. It was big enough to hold plenty of oil and still get a 5" skimmer into.

It's even Induction! wow!
I needed a larger pot to make my larger batches of cheese and came across this one. Don't hesitate to purchase it. Durable, easy to clean, good weight and can be used on an induction burner!! Bonus! I make lots of cheese and yoghurt and wanted a pot that would not burn easily because it has a heavy bottom and this is the winner! It was great also to cook my sauce for 2 days for caning. Highly recommend this pot for so many uses!

Makes hard recipies so much easier!!
I love it!!! I was looking for a pot that was heavy duty, with an ability for even heating and able to make large batches of items such as no- bake cookies, sauces, soups and stews etc. I make these items for a small "mom & pop" convience store. The large size helps to make several batches at once and avoids problems such as boil-over etc.The thick base avoids scorching and provides even heating and cooking, I can walk away to assist customers for a few minutes and be confident that my items (ie; no-bake cookies) that require a near constant stirring do not end up scorched and stuck on the bottom if I reduce the heat before walking away. It also keeps the temperature from falling off too much if I do walk away and it heats back uo quickly helping to keep the even temps nessessary for the recipe's to turn out a great product. The harder recipes that require so much attention and stirring to turn out right are so much easier with this pot.I am very happy with my purchase and may even decide to give a couple as gifts in the future.🙋♀️ UPDATE---11/18/2020Hey, all! Well, I am still loving this pot! I've used it for making big batches of Items nearly daily, AND happy to say that I have not burnt, scalded, scorched 🤔a single item in this pot! There are scratches on the outside and a few on the glass lid. I make sure to use a sponge scrubbie or S.O.S. pad and scrub EVERY bit, every time I have been able to keep it looking near new. After over a full yr & 1/2 of use and absue!!The price is really what drew me toward these particular units but I really hated the thought of getting the cheapest and the garantee of the worst scorched flavors gravies, sauces and the no-bake cookies, and I get big raves over my personal recipe. Burned food, not an option! The heavier the pan the better for the food, but they are way too expensive for most people's needs. The bottom plate pretty much solves that issue, still need to keep an eye out, but not as much.👌 I have decided that I need to order another of these but the next smaller size.🙄 Hope that I didn't wait too long and they're sold out.Well I'm off to work again,Here's hoping for the next recipe or idea to suddenly "dawn" on me 🧐🙄😍.Thanks for letting me get some of. the tension in my neck and shoulders out by rambling and running on with the words!!😉

very good pot!
Tried it out recently by canning tomatoes on a propane cooker. No hot spots- good, even heat (no burned tomatoes to scrape and scrub off pot's bottom). It's heavy and should prove durable. Only "negative" is that I would've preferred a stainless steel lid instead of glass because I tend to break things :( . Wish I'd bought it years ago and retired my old, thin, cheap stock pot to boiling dishwater on camping trips. Worth every penny.

Definitely Recommend This 5qt. Casserole Stock Pot
Last year I bought the 7pc tri-ply all clad Cook N Home set. I absolutely love it. But it came with the 8qt Stock Pot which I use a lot for ears of corn, spaghetti noodles, soups, stews, etc... But it's too large/tall for everyday use for elbow pasta, boiling, potatoes, hamburger helpers, Mac and cheese, etc... So I bought the Cook N Home 5qt Casserole Stock Pot. Unlike my earlier set it has the heat disc on the bottom instead of in-between the stainless steel all over the pots. But, I just made a batch of my mom's ghoulish in it. And it was great. Easy to use, easy to clean, looks really nice. Cooks every bit as good as the Cook N Home 7pc set I bout last year. Good weight. Matches my set just fine. I would definitely recommend it to others. I now wish I would've bought the 3pc set, with the 3 different sizes. And still might next month.
