First Venture Into Monk Fruit...I Like
So towards the end of last year, I decided I wanted to start making a few dietary changes. One of them was cutting out as much sugar as possible. I had previously tried some of the other artificial sweeteners and they tasted like some sort of chemical. During my research I cam across Monk Fruit sweetener and I have to say that this is absolutely the BEST artificial sweetener I have come across thus far. To me, it tastes JUST like regular white sugar, and apparently can even be used at 1:1 ratio as if it were. Who said being healthy equates to a lack of taste!!??

Beyond Bitter
I've used multiple Monk Fruit sweetners over the years, and after reading the reviews, ordered this in January. Initially I decided to give it a month, but I reordered my previous brand today, eight days before the 30 day trial period I planned on.I measured two teaspoons into the same brand and blend of coffee that I enjoy, hoping for the best. On the plus side, I poured mine into a resealable glass jar to keep it from any dampness, and didn't encounter any clumping.I tried multiple approaches, adding only one teaspoon, then moving up to three, and finally settling on the fact that this sweetener profoundly bitter. Bitter to the point that most of my coffee ends up poured down the sink.I wanted to like it. The price for the amount you get is good, other reviews were promising. But the bottom line is the fact that I like to enjoy my one cup of coffee in the mornings and essentially I was gifting the majority of the brew to the sink drain.

Unbeatable Flavor
I got this on a whim because my wife eats a keto diet and is always looking for sugar substitutes. She had tried both of these ingredients (monk fruit & allulose) separately, but apparently the combination is greater than the sum of its parts.Allulose is one of the most natural tasting sugar alternatives, but it is surprisingly less sweet than sugar. Most artificial sweeteners rely on the fact that they are several hundred times sweeter than table sugar, so you only need a miniscule amount. Allulose is different and it is here where the combination with monk fruit really shines. Monk fruit is sweeter than sugar, so when these are combined together in the correct ratio, you get a sweetener that is roughly the same sweetness as table sugar, tastes pretty close to table sugar, and does not have much of that typical, sickeningly sweet aftertaste that often comes with other sweeteners. Heck, I personally hate artificial sweeteners and even I had to admit that this stuff was pretty good. Only drawback is that it's a little pricey, but my wife is almost done with the package and intends to buy more in the near future. Very good stuff. Highly recommended.

I don't love it
Duran Duran once sang, "There's a dream that streams the road, with broken glass for us to hold." That's the way I feel about artificial sweeteners. They are a beautiful dream - replacing fattening sugar with some magical substitute that allows us to enjoy an unlimited supply of our favorite things. And then there's reality and the inevitable disappointment. Having been on a diet since the dawn of time, I've tried each new offering. They all fail for one reason or another. Some are just yucky, others are dangerous, and the actual best-tasting one (Maltitol) causes diarrhea if you eat too much! For me this Monk Fruit/Allulose sweetener falls into the yucky category. It sweetens things but has a nasty aftertaste. It's not the pure bliss of sugar.I rated it a neutral three though. I did this because I am someone who is a bit high maintenance and I have pretty sensitive taste buds. I can taste the difference between cane sugar (hooray) and beet sugar (tastes like a foot). Some people can't taste that difference - turns out it's genetic. I also think Cilantro tastes like soap (again it's genetic). So, maybe this won't taste yucky to you, but I'm pretty sure, it also won't convince you it's sugar!

Versatile, aftertaste-free sweetener
Healthier Comforts All Natural Granulated Sugar Substitute Monk Fruit with Allulose Zero Calorie 1:1 white sugar replacement 10 oz. No aftertaste, keto, gluten free, erythritol free, vegan, non-gmo, and zero calorie. Made in China, distributed in the US. Best by date 9/2026, a year and some months out.I was a little apprehensive about this product. Sometimes with new sweeteners, especially unknown brands on Amazon, you never know what you’re getting. Especially with monk fruit. Imo, out of all the different types, it’s the one that lends itself towards a bitter/musky taste. This product was a winner! The consistency is nicely granulated, just like regular sugar, and is slightly off-white/cream in color. It dissolves quickly on the tongue, which is just what you want. And has mostly no taste or after taste. It’s not overpowering and doesn’t upset my sensitive stomach.I substituted this for real sugar in a crab rangoon dip recipe. I used about a tablespoon or so and it was a perfect match. It added the perfect hint of sweetness without being too much or undetectable. I’m glad I got this and can’t wait to use it in the future. Some natural sweeteners, i.e. coconut sugar, can only be used in baked goods or other sweet dishes due to their flavor profile. This monk sugar would work equally well in tea, smoothies, savory dishes, or sweet dishes, imo.Lastly, to the value. I took off a star because at the time of ordering this was generally more expensive than most brands(10$) per quantity(10 oz). As far as performance, I think it is comparable to Truvia, Lakanto, Swerve, or other popular name brands.

Not a Sweetner
It doesn't sweeten anything. I used in my coffee and no matter how much you use it doesn't work as a sweetner
