I'm so confused by the great reviews. I found this very difficult to use, I think because the one I received was practically dried up. I'm not sure if it was old. Also, the color is darker than advertised.

I had high hopes for this root touch-up mascara, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. The color didn’t blend as naturally as I wanted—it looked a bit patchy and powdery on my roots. It also transferred easily onto my fingers and clothes, even hours after application. While it’s a quick fix for an emergency, it doesn’t last long and definitely isn’t sweat- or humidity-proof. I appreciate the concept, but I won’t be repurchasing this particular product.
