Midea MERC04C4BAWW 3.5 Cubic Feet Chest Freezer, Cu.ft-Convertible, White

I’m loving this freezer. There was no damage during the delivery and it was delivered a day early. It was packaged really well. I plugged it in, and it took no time for the freezer to start getting cold. My intention is to fill my freezer with meats and start cooking more and saving money. In today’s climate, it’s a must. Thank you Amazon!

Using this to store my breast milk and it works great! I like the little shelf for new ones and then add them to the bottom once they’re frozen. It did have a little dent on the lid but still works fine!

From someone living in an old 26' RV in SW Arizona who homebrews beer: Just received the 7 cubic foot one today 12/3/2024 via UPS, 1 day earlier then expect btw. The driver was kind and wheeled it in right side up. I was at work and finished a few hours later then immediately fit it through the 27ish" wide RV door and plugged it in via an InkBird temp controller. The bottom isn't open and covered with a thin aluminum sheet. I turned the dial to max freeze, set the InkBird to 30f with 2f high/low and it quickly dropped to 30F in an hour and the Inkbird turned it off. I put two 5 gallon 'soda' kegs of beer in and moved them around, this thing will fit 4 'soda' kegs and a couple CO2 bottles with dual dial regulators (those are on the shelf). It's whisper quiet. 1 of the kegs was 3/4 full of Amber beer and not cold, all of that chilled in 2 hours (old 12v cooler could only fit 1 keg and this one was inferior beer). The old 12v also only cooled from the bottom, this has side coils and beats the stuffings out of the cheap 12v "cooler" for THIS application.For power consumption: it's rated at 1.2 amps AC according to the sticker on the vent side. I want to run it off 200ah of Lithium batteries and 875 watts solar. 1.2amps AC = aprox 12amps DC. Using a shunt it only used 7amps DC - quite impressive. Since I'm using a temp controller I've no ideahow much power it uses when the compressor isn't on as it's not "Energy Star Rated". I made it "Energy Star .." using the temp controller. "Enery Star .." simply means no power is consumed when the compressor is not on. Simple. I could test this but the beer is cold..and not bad..and I'm lazy currently.Seems to hold temps quite well but we'll see what happens in the summer with weeklong 115-120f heat.

Lite to move empty, filled it up after 24 hours, doing it's Job. When I received it, there was a nice dent at the bottomLeft corner. It did not cause any problem with function. Would have given 5 stars. Very Quiet.If it was not for the green liter would not know it was running. Perfect size for the Garage to keep my Frozen Fish, other Goodies the Little Lady was complaining about in the Big Freezer!! LOL!!!

The freezer is the perfect size for the space I have and allows me to buy in bulk with ample room to freeze. It was delivered right to my door as scheduled.While it was well packaged, it still came with a dent in the middle-front of the lid.
