EquiFit Shouldersback Posture Support Lite Large Black

I have seen mixed reviews on this and I know that these things don't work for all people but this works great for me. I've only had it for two days but so far I wore it for 6 hours yesterday and about 7 today and it does help. If it wears out or starts causing me problems I'll post an update but so far it is helping with my posture immensly.I'm a guy and I noticed most of the pictures are with females so I was wondering about that also but this fits great and as I said above, it works for me.I wear it over my t-shirt and under my button up shirt so it is not noticable at all. I think it would be very uncomfortable on my bare skin so maybe that is why people comlpained. It says you can do both but I know I wouldn't like it.I do have a slight muscle ache in my back from sitting up straighter all the time when I'm not used to it but that should fix itself over time. The package does say to wear it for comfortable periods and doesn't say to wear it as long as I have been but it is pretty comfortable and I'm seeing how long I can go comfortably.I slouch and hunch my shoulder a lot and I've been trying to stop that and this may be the thing I've been looking for.

I didn't really like the product when I received it. It just didn't have that perfect fit that I thought it would have.It was easy to put on, but just kind of felt uncomfortable.

I purchased two other brands of posture support braces on Amazon and returned both of them because they were very uncomfortable and difficult to put on and take off.The Equifit Shoulders Back Posture Support product is comfortable and easy to put on and take off. Most importantly it works in correcting posture by gently coaxing the shoulders back and helping to prevent the back from slouching forward. The Equifit Shoulders Back Posture Support brace is so comfortable that it can be worn for hours without noticing that it is being worn. I can definitely recommend this product for anyone who wants to correct poor posture.Although the Equifit Posture Support Brace is more expensive than other posture support braces available in the market place, In my opinion the higher price is worth the investment due to the comfort and quality of the Equifit Shoulders Back Posture Support brace.

i'd say give it a chance. i got this for better posture when horse riding... when I first put this on I hated it. the large is big, even for me a 6.0 athletic guy. it probably feels bra-like. i bet women might not find it so automatically uncomfortable.. extra length on straps hanging also bother me--I was tempted to start modifying it immediately but waited to see if i had to return it. manufacturer could easily have made this more tidy w/ a few extra velco tabs. // I tried to wear it to work but it just bothered me too much. BUT< when I used it for its intended purpose it served me well...it does gently keep my shoulders back.. imo, this item is a supply and demand thing- the function is good but it is quite expensive for what it is.. in comparison, i also bought a low back brace: Mueller Sport Care Adjustable Back Brace One Size and its quality is honestly exceptional for $17. the prices could be flipped imo, but again, its supply and demand... so for the equifit; 5 * for function and 1 star for quality/price = 3 * overall...

First things first. I'm 25, 6'1, and weight about 200lbs. I work in an office 5 days a week so I find myself hunching over often. I suffered from chronic tendinitis in my left shoulder. I went through PT twice for my shoulder which helped, however, as soon as I stopped going the tendinitis would return after a month. (The physical therapist explained to me that my left scapula did not rotate perfectly.) I was becoming very frustrated that I couldn't work out as much as I would like to have due to constant shoulder pain. One day it dawned on me that my posture could be the result of the should pain, so I gave this a try.I have read some complaints about discomfort, and found some to be true and some to be exaggerated. You abosluly need need to wear an undershirt to protect the skin near your armpits. I wear a thin v neck, but you can use any shirt for that matter.I put at shirt on and then strap Equifit support on, then I put my button up on after that. I was kinda nervous about being stuck with the Equifit support on all day at work, 7am to 6pm, however, the first day wasn't too bad. Is it discomforting, somewhat at first, but much like anything, your body needs to get used to it. The Equifit support isn't going to do all the work, but it does guide your shoulder back and down for the most optimal posture position. As time goes on you will start to assist the Equifit support by pulling your shoulder in the direction it wants them to go. You do feel the muscle in your back get slightly fatigued the first few times, but as the old expression goes, no pain no gain.I wear it all day at work, and then even wear it at the gym by night. In my opinion, this gives me better form while working out.I have been wearing for about a month now and almost all shoulder pain is gone. I actually prefer wearing it now to avoid injury. I have noticed more flexibility and less clicking in my shoulders and scapula.Now I do have a few complaints, but remember that I still wear it everyday.The part that goes around your stomach rises constantly, so I find my self pulling it down all the time.Second, Equifit uses a generic Velcro system to adjust the width of the straps that you put your arms through. There is always excess strap that forms a small bump under your clothing, but it's not too bad. However, they should have a a piece that allows you to strap the excess strap down. (Much like a belt)Third, and in my opinion my biggest complaint, it seems flimsy, considering they are charging $50.00 for this. That is my biggest disappointment because it works so well.I would initiate a buy at this time. (I work in the financial industry)Hope this helps!

It looks great, but it is very uncomfortable, I had to return it, but I will get another kind from amazon cause I do love to shop with them, and they do have a lot of great things. But with this I was not happy it didn't fit right and it would cut into my armpits, and I did buy the right size. I also think it had to much Velcro.

I ordered this brace in hopes that it would keep my shoulders back in the correct alinement. However, I put this on and it didn't hold my shoulders back and it was rubbing me wrong under the arm. I thought maybe it was the wrong size so I had my husband try it. It did the same thing to him. Sadly this will be returned.
