Children's Encyclopedia of Dinosaurs (Arcturus Children's Reference Library, 1)

My dino-mad 5 year old LOVES this book! The illustrations are bright colourful and grab his attention. The `fact files` are good and thankfully how to pronounce some tricky dino names are included. We love reading this at bed and I HIGHLY recommend if your littly loves dinosaurs!

Another good kids book with some very nice pictures

Great for reading with children but has small sections of text they can read themselves. Some of the language describing how carnivores capture prey is a little gruesome but I just edit as I read it it’s bedtime

Book bought for nephew who is 5 year old. He sits and reads it with his Dad. It is very informative He has always enjoyed dinosaurs. This is a great onformative book

Bought for my 6 year old nephew. Despite not being able to read some of the harder words, he loved the book. It was so well illustrated and so informative. They even spell the dinosaur names phonetically which really helped me when i read it to him. The book would be good if the topic is ever discussed at school.

My 3 year old loves dinosaurs. I worried this would be too advanced for him, but he loves acting out the different dinosaurs according to the facts we read. I enjoy reading this to him and I think we’ll love it for years. Worth the money.

I was initially worried purchasing this book that because it's a Children's Encyclopedia that it would be very basic and not contain too many species, I am very happy to have been proven wrong!This book contains stunning illustrations and a number of dinosaurs that I had never heard of before rather than simply the basic T-rex, Triceratops etc. The information given on each dinosaur was well done and appropriate for older and younger children with many interesting facts. Overall, this book is a very good addition to out dinosaur collection
