DK Loire Valley (Travel Guide) Flexibound – April 17, 2018

We found this book exceptionally helpful to plan our trip to this region. We have been able to optimize travel between places and really understand how we want to spend our time. Other more general books do not cover regions like this with enough detail. This one is great.

Very informative, great pictures, easy to read. Wish Eyewitness guide would rate the attractions (1, 2 or 3 stars) the way Michelin green guide does.

I ordered this one after finding that a comparable Michelin guide was unavailable. Although DK isn't my first choice in a travel guide, as the guides typically don't drill down to the level of detail that others do, this one is well organized, easy to read, and the larger photos are helpful and of high quality. It suitable for both travel planning and taking along for reference while on the go. One tip: I think it helps to purchase and use the same brand of travel guide for the countries/regions you'll be visiting for consistency's sake. Happy, safe travels!
