Works perfectly, it's good & loud
I combined this with a smart plug connected to my Home Assistant. Works perfectly as the external siren component to my homemade alarm system

Manually activated strobe and alarm, great for me.
I have some reolink cameras covering my car, however the audible alarm on them is not good. Wanted some serious volume and the ability to switch on /off manually. I got this along with YUWLDD International Power Adapters Multifunctional Portable Power Transformers (Included USB),AC Supply Adapter 100-240V to DC 3V/4.5V/5V/6V/7.5V/9V/12V-MAX 2A (2000mA)+8 Different Plugs. Connected it (easy with the bare wire connector) up and plugged into a tapo switch. It's seriously loud and bright. Wire a bit short so will order some 12v cable and mount it on the front of the garage. Should get a good video on the reolinks when I set it off in anger. Not waterproof so some clear silicone and weather tape are needed. Also mounting it under eaves.

Small but loud!
About half scale of a similar unit you might see outside on a house. I wanted mine rigged up to a smart device. It works well for inside use and, of course, needs a 12v DC feed. I used a transformer from some old piece of equipment - router or something.

Makes your ears ring
I bought this as an add on noise source for my home intruder alarm system. Unlike regular bell boxes, it doesn't have backup batteries inside, so it can't be used in an "anti tamper" mode, but I added it on the "bell" curcuit of my alarm panel, which has a 13.5 V output, and high enough up my house that the wires couldn't be easily cut.Boy, is it loud! It's about the same noise level as the main alarm siren. The flashing lights are very bright too and leave spots before the eyes. I think it would be ideal as an extra alarm signal for intruder alarm systems, warning alarms, etc. The price is very good for what you get.
