No more aching hands
Used this several times on the Motorhome so much better than the hand squeeze ones, made the job so much easier, better quality. It seems rather robust and definitely does a job, I warmed up the caulk before inserting and applying ,

Useful
Very good, but the slowest setting is pretty quick, perfect for big jobs but no point loading it up if its a small patch up.

Received a Used and Incomplete Product
I cannot give a proper review of the TaskStar Cordless Caulking Gun because I was sent a used and incomplete product. The package arrived damaged, with an empty cardboard slot where the charger should have been. Only the gun and battery were included, so I had no way to charge or use it.This was a very disappointing experience, as I expected a complete and new product. Definitely not happy with this purchase.

A great idea, and fairly well-implemented, but this one may be faulty.
This powered caulk gun makes some sense, especially for anyone doing a lot of filling and sealing. At £89.99, it may be a luxury if used only occasionally, but for professionals and enthusiastic DIYers, it could offer good value. You get the gun, a single 2aH battery (not two as the listing suggests), a plug-in charger and a nozzle trimming tool. The instruction manual is good. Operation is simple: load the gun by drawing back the toothed pressure rod (there is a release button at the back), load the cartridge and either push the rod back, or let the motor do it.A hinged wire rod under the carriage will help to clear blocked nozzles. I needed something more to clear the dried rubbery adhesive sealant I tried it with. There is a choice of five speeds, selected by a little button, with LEDs, and the plunger reverses a little at the end of an operation to relieve pressure and minimise wasted material. The amount varies with speed. It can't draw any unused sealant back in, of course, but it will prevent long overspills, worms of material oozing out for minutes after you have stopped filling.I don't know if my example is faulty. It stops pumping after a few seconds, and goes into reverse, as if the trigger has been released. This looks like the overload safety mechanism, but if so, it is over-reacting. The material does come out correctly, so the back-pressure can't be that high. Many mastics will be more resistant than the relatively runny stuff I am using. I need to investigate further, but for now, I am deducting a star.My only other criticism is that the tool won't stand up when loaded. With a full or nearly full cartridge, it tilts forwards onto its nose. Perhaps a small matter, but it impacts the ease with which it can be picked up and put down.Potentially a great tool to overcome the tiring and tedious operation of a manual gun, and just as quick to load and use.

Effortless and Precise
The media could not be loaded. The TaskStar Cordless Caulking Gun is a versatile tool designed to simplify caulking and sealing projects. With its ergonomic design, 2000mAh rechargeable battery, and adjustable speed settings, it’s perfect for DIYers and professionals alike. What I Like about ItAs a DIY enthusiast, I’ve used manual caulking guns for years. While effective, they required a lot of focus to maintain a consistent flow, not to mention the physical strain on my hands. This cordless caulking gun is a game changer. Its motorized operation means I no longer have to worry about controlling the flow manually it’s as simple as setting the speed to match the task, letting the gun deliver the perfect bead every time. The anti-drip mechanism is a great feature, eliminating excess material waste and keeping my workspace clean. Additionally, the built-in LED light is a thoughtful feature that’s proven helpful for tight, low-light spots like under sinks or in crawl spaces.Features I Appreciate- Adjustable Speed Control: Five speed settings allow precise flow for various materials and applications.- Ease of Use: Loading cartridges is straightforward, and the anti-drip mechanism minimizes mess.- Battery Life: The long-lasting 2000mAh battery lets me work uninterrupted on larger projects.- Built-in LED Light: Handy for working in dimly lit areas.Room for improvement:it doesn't accept the long cartridges, 380ml, 400ml.It doesn't come with a carry bag or case.Overall this cordless caulking gun is a valuable addition to your toolkit for any regular DIY. It delivers consistent, professional results with minimal effort, and the adjustable speed ensures you can match the output to your needs. It may not replace the manual gun for tiny repairs, but for sealing and larger projects, it’s worth every penny.

Makes sealing jobs easy and consistent
This electric caulk gun has made a huge difference to me when re-roofing my summerhouse - there is a lot of sealant bead runs to apply between the felt layers and having this gun made the whole process much better than with a manual gun. You get everything you need in the package, including two batteries so you can keep working when one goes flat and rotate them in use.
