It's perfect in every way. Love being able to play our old records now. This player looks wonderful and the sound is great for us (non tech people). Really easy to set up and use. we would def recommend

We love the look in our home and it sounds great. We had a bit of difficulty with the instructions but finally worked it out and are very pleased with our purchase

We were a little disappointed with the finish of the unit - looks like unvarnished wood in places, but we are not experts. Just looks quite dull on some parts, like the lid area, and not in others. There was also quite a bit of wood dust.The sound quality was far better than I was expecting, and the volume was easily adequate for our large lounge and we could easily hear it in the neighbouring kitchen, despite never having the volume above half way. I did get the impression that the audio quality would suffer at higher volumes, though.I cringed a bit at the cassette player, as it is just like those old car stereos that only have autoplay, eject and fast forward. I'll be converting my vast cassette collection to mp3 as a priority, as I don't entirely trust these units (in general) with them long term.I returned the unit because the cassette player didn't work - but I decided to buy another one. When I contacted both the seller, via Amazon, and the manufacturer directly about the cassette player, both were very keen to help, with the manufacturer even providing a personally recorded video of the unit operation to try and help (which unfortunately didn't, but nevertheless, good customer service from the manufacturer).We have since tried two other units of the same type, by other manufacturers and I can easily say that this one was the best of them, and is the one we shall be keeping. If you are in the market for such a device, I would recommend the Shuman unit over the others on Amazon.

Lied the size and look, happy with sound quality and the range of what I can use it for. The remote control is handy. Haven’t used the recording function. Also would on reflection have got the 8 in one with digital radio but that was my choice

This is an excellent piece of furniture, sadly the sound quality on all modes is very poor, there is no way to adjust tone, terrible or bass and the factory settings are set poorly, in truth, very disappointed with this item and consider it very expensive for such poor. sound quality

The on/off button does not function. At least the player is permanently in the on mode, but it does mean turning the power on and shutting the power off at the mains wall socket. Disappointing and a bit of a pain to return.The player looks good, a nice looking retro design but apart from that it’s not much different to a €50 player we purchased 7/8 years ago ( the on/off button died and this purchased this player). The only useful difference is the Bluetooth connectivity which allows an extra level of flexibility.Sound has a dull woody bass response but it’s fine for talk radio and as an all around music player largely meant for a retro trip down memory lane. Probably would get a cheaper option next time, if at all.

Easy to set up. Played LP’s 30-40 years old no problem. Sounds good and simple to use. Good VFM.
