KangerTech Black Evod Bottom Coil Clearomizer

I have used these tanks for years. They made not be the most flashy on the market but they last a good while and marry well with the Kanger coils I buy. A classic budget item really that actually works and works very well.

I bought this because I was fed up with half of my cheaper clearomizers leaking and spitting hot liquid into my mouth. I had bought the KangerTech battery and was happy with that so I decided to buy a clearomizer that matched it from the same company. It certainly works better than the others I've tried and I am happy with that. But there are a couple of issues that have caused me some grief. One is that it is difficult to see the level for filling so that, if the liquid is clear it's hard to tell if you're near the refill point and sometimes don't realise until you start to taste it. It also makes it difficult to tell if you are reaching the overfill point. Finally if you are not careful about unscrewing the bottom to refill it, the coil may stay on the battery so that the liquid pours out of the bottom and has landed on the floor and on my clothes. Thankfully it washes out but they are ruined for wearing that day.Having said that, now that I am aware of the pitfalls I just take a bit more care and am happy with the thing overall.In fact I bought a second one after a few weeks but when it arrived it leaked copiously from the first filling. I tried replacing the coil in case that was faulty but that didn't help. I wanted to return it but Amazon said it was not eligible for return when I tried. I eventually found the contact number for Northern-Vape who supplied it and the person who answered, I think it was the owner, could not have been more helpful. He apologised for the problem and explained that it was Amazon who set the eligibility for returns and he himself didn't understand what caused it to apply to some of his products and not others. Without a quibble he told me he would send a replacement by 1st class post and it appeared through my letter box 2 days later. Now that's what I call after-sales service. It also doesn't have the same problem and I won't hesitate to go on using them (both the product and the supplier).

Smaller than my main tank, this one has less chance of being damaged in pocket etc when out and about. Easy to fill and see how much is left, came with a coil fitted which was good.

Held off the review on purpose, thought I'd give it a few days of use first. Not sure if it's an official Kangertech product since it came in a little plasic bag, but it sure looks and acts the same as the broken one it's replacing. Anyways, I'm pleased to report that this tank works great, no leaks and fits perfectly on my eGo C+ battery. As a bonus the tank even came with a 1.8ohm coil. If anyone wonders it's a matt black (with a kind of rubbery feeling) not shiny/gloss.Good value and well happy with the purchase. Item was delivered next day too. Thanks!

Build seems ok but design is very bad. Tiny window is virtually useless and I found the smooth bottom makes unscrewing it difficult. As soon as I get another tank this goes in the bin.

Looks nice.Quick delivery.One small problem.. It leaks from the mouth piece when filling with liquid or changing the coil. (The silver version doesn't leak)I have 2 silver and 1 black.I will buy more from this seller when I need them..but will be the silver version.

Fiddly to use and tiny window slit

Arrived quicker than expected. Will use this when travelling and out and about. Works really well so far. Genuine product at a fantastic price
