Buddeez Pet Food Storage Container - 8 Quart Capacity Bird Seed Container & Dog Food Storage, with Durable EZ Grip Handle and EZ Flip Lid with Pour Spout

I bought this to store clump-able cat liter that I get in bulk that comes in bags. The bags are 40-50 Lbs and tough to maneuver. This container/dispenser holds about 20-25 Lbs worth of cat liter without any issues. I was worried when I bought it that the density of the cat liter would be a problem (it's dense, like sand or concrete powder). But not only does it hold up well, I can pour the liter with one hand using the handle and either spout. The handle is solid and thick, does not appear to have any strain when pouring a full container. And more to my surprise, the lid stays on when I pour the liter through the small or large spout. There are 2 spouts, a smaller one that is only a few inches that nestles in a larger one that is about 3 times the size. I had expected the entire lid to pop off with the weight of the cat liter. But the lid is tight and can withstand the weight without any issue thus far -- I've been using the container/dispenser for about 2 months now. This thing is well built and exceeded my expectations.

Sturdy container and very handy. My only complaint would be that the top lid sometimes pops off if you don't push it down firmly.

I have been searching for a good way to store bird seed that would replace using plastic milk jugs (which I have been using for many, many years). But I always end up sticking with the milk jugs since they are light and easy to carry - but certainly not perfect and time consuming to fill (however, the price can't be beat!). I was a bit hesitant to purchase these containers due to the negative reviews, but I am glad I did. They are great - nice size (not too heavy to carry out to the bird feeders; easy to pour). As for being air-tight, I would definitely not say that, but mine do snap close. I read a bunch of reviews that commented that the lids did not actually seal but rather just lay down. I didn't find that; for me, the entire top seals (like Tupperware, just not as well) and the spout (which is integrated into the lid and folds out to form the spout) snaps back in. I wouldn't trust either of these seals to outside critters, though. And I didn't test this - and hopefully won't - but I would guess that if filled completely with heavy seed and then knocked over, you would end up with quite a mess. Nonetheless, since I will be keeping these inside the house, they work perfect for me and take up much less room than all the milk jugs!

The container is little tall for a 4 lb bag of food and the flip lid doesn’t fit tight enough (my personal preference). The overall size besides the height is good. The spout is great and opens easily but, because the container is so tall food spills out of the bag into the container. It’s convenience for quickly poring the food in the dog’s bowl. The container is sturdy enough and it not too heavy even with a full bag of food. I gave four stars because of the height and the flip lid that does not fit tightly enough for me. The food stays fresh which is very important for me. Good product overall.

Purchased this container to help me fill my bird feeders. Gets the job done.

I bought these dual containers for bird and squirrel food. They hold 10 lbs of each type of food. It is REALLY nice having the spout to pour out of. Shipping took a while but other than that these were exactly what I was looking for!

I have a 90 puund dog who gets two cups of dry food a day and this will hold a little over one week, so great for travel.
