Reliable brand, great price for potent clove supplement!
Love Nutricost products! I like the strong potency of their clove supplement and the fact they also offer 120 capsules. Other brands only offer 100 pills per bottle. The coloring of the pills is blackish white... I can see the clove extract mixed with the rice flour filler. Never had any problems with their supplements! Recommended!

Color is Off
Not sure there is much clove in the pills, they are very pale. I believe there is a slight amount of clove and other fillers. There isn't even a clove smell. Unfortunately cant return

Clove extract is more potent than clove powder
I have noticed a number of reviews stating that this is not real cloves or that the color is off and would like to offer a simple explanation. This product is a 10 to 1 extract, which means it is ten times more condensed that clove powder. To make an extract, the original element is heated in water for a period of time, releasing the medicinal components into the water. The solids are then strained off and the liquid tea is evaporated into a powder, which is many times more potent than the original substance. It is like when one makes tea instead of consuming a tea bag's worth of herbs. I prefer extracts in most cases because usually less pills are needed to obtain the required dosage. This is why the label says the capsule contains 100mg but has the potency of 1000mg.
