Great apron.

This is the best apron design I have owned. I started my careen in restaurants and have worked in food and spirit production as well as being a maker. I have ordered and worn a lot of different aprons. The best feature overall is the unique tie configuration. Through a series of loops the apron form fits and ties securely. There are also several useful pockets and the material is durable. If you're just an everyday cook, you can now look like a pro chef! I use this for outdoor cooking and I was tired of getting my everyday clothes splattered with grease and smell of oil. Now I look like a cool hipster dad with this apron!Likes:1. Well crafted, clean design, plenty of pockets, and nice universal fit.2. Cleans easy.3. Darker color hides the dirt.Dislikes:1. Getting tangled in the straps. The back straps have a cross-over for a good fit, but my big head gets tangled up sometimes. It wasn't until later that I noticed that it has an adjustable slider to accommodate.This is a great apron that is worth the cost. Especially for the quality!

I know hedley & bennett aprons are pricey, and honestly would never have gotten one for myself since I have a lot of random cheap ones. But a friend gave it to me as a housewarming and I LOVE mind. The one I have has a cross back so easier to put on and does not slip off my shoulders like all the other aprons I have. It has perfectly position large pockets too. I got this one for my husband since he doesn't like his old apron because of the fit. This one is also cross back with long strings to tie around your waist. Also large pockets. The material is very nice. I didn't pay too much attention to washing instructions the first time with my old ones and dried them. That was a mistake. I'll probably just air dry it because it wrinkles it too much.

Ordered this to use in the kitchen and for grilling this season. I like the dark navy clor with the brown straps and the stitching looks good and the fabric feels tough...However, I typically wear a size XL and this apron won't come close to wrapping around and tying in the front like the pictures show. The straps touch but only overlap a couple of inches. So it's not really a one-size-fits-all situation.Finally, while the overall quality is nice I just can't justify the cost here. I think at 50% of it's current listing price it would be a decent buy, but not at the current asking price. So while I almost never do, I've gotta knock it a star for overall value as well.
