I read a reveiw by someone which gave me the impression that they beleive the 6mm sodalite is most likely glass beads. I purchased the sodalite any way. I split one in half and inspected both halves with a 10x triplet loupe. I observed platelets of what appeared to be calcium deposits. I saw no air bubbles (indicative of being made of glass). I then tested the beads with my short wave and long wave uv light instrument. The beads have a violet florescence, which, is indicative for sodalite. So, I feel the sodalite beads that I purchased are real. I do believe that they are over polished, but, for the price I will keep and use them for beaded jewelry. I don't care as they look great to the naked eye.

These are so powerful. You feel their authenticity radiate with their energy. I loved holding them and am so excited to make a bracelet, ring and necklace combo!

These beads are not in the least bit pink, not even a hint of pink.

I used these lovely beads with pearls to make a statement necklace. The beads are high quality and the color was perfect. I was so pleased with the results, and the cost was much better than buying from local craft stores. I would order these again in different colors.

It seems that the gemstone beads that come from China such as Cheavian, Qiwan, and Yochus, have their sizes wrong. They are sending out 4mm gemstones in the place of 6mm. Although their package will still say they are 6mm. But they are not. I don't know about the other sizes. I just wanted to let others know that so they don't waste their time ordering the wrong size. I bought many 6mm beads from these 3 companies and they always came as 4mm. So order one size up if you want 6mm beads. As far as the look of the beads I can't complain. There are no cracks and they are smooth and nicely polished. That is why I still give them 3 stars. Very pretty!
