It doesn’t take very long to charge up, and our two cats were very curious. The younger one literally crawls around the floor to find it if it stops, following lack of activity. It a bit noisy, and clacks on the wooden floor but it is the best toy she has ever had, and a week and a month later continues to seek it out so she can chase like a mad cat around the house after it. And we love all of the antics.

Started off great but on second charge it lasted 2 minutes before it went dead . Also the charging point is misaligned. Great toy if it decides to work

My cats are adult male cats. The ball frightened them, it's too big and too aggressive, but better on the slower mode. Even then the ball is hard making it difficult to grab for play killing. They like the tail best but tired of it quickly. It's now in a drawer with other cat toys!
