Not the metal I expected, very thin

This kit really helps us! When my kids caught a cold they also got middle-ear infection easily, so we usually used otoscope to check their ear. We bought couple of other brands ear otoscopes before but they broke easily and sometimes the light were not strong enough. This kit is very easy to use, it has magnification so we can check kid's ear clearly and the light is very bright! We definitely recommend this kit to the people looking for the ear examination otoscope!

We took these on a medical mission trip and used them on over 600 kids. They’re not the best tool out there, but they got the job done pretty darn well! Good value! We will keep them and take them back with us next year

While I initially had higher hopes for this I was slightly disappointed. The light isn’t very bright on this one, plus it’s hard to get in and out of the case that comes with it. It doesn’t magnify very well either, not to mention that it does not take a aaa or aa type battery which most people have at home so you have to go back to the store just for batteries. I did like that it came with a carrying case and an extra bulb along with different sizes of tips for it, it if you want an ottoscope that half way works then get a better one than this one or just go to Walmart and get one of theirs it definitely works better.

This is the worst otoscope I have ever used! The only good thing about it is that the light is nice and bright and not colored. The specula are very hard to change, and are very large. The head pops off all by itself. With the batteries it is very heavy. Worst of all you can hardly see the inner ear with it! Without the magnifier the view is so blurred you cannot determine what anything is. With the magnifier you can barely see the inner ear and therefore the tool does not do its job. Definitely returning.

I bought this for home ! It’s good to check for simple ear issues. I’m retired medical & family always depends on my experience. It’s simple easy & surprisingly the light is good so it’s good for a quick check .

Great how you can adjust the brightness of the light, and the option of using the magnify glass or just moving it to the side. A little heavy to carry around due to the 2 C batteries it requires. However, it's helpful for us to keep at home to use to help get the ear wax out of the kid's ears.

The light flickers and is not bright. When you turn it on it doesn’t really stay on. There is a metal piece inside the viewing drum that blocks half of the view. Cheaply made.
