Snoop Doggy Dogg - Doggystyle (KiT Album)

I first bought this album as a teenager and it was the album that got me into Hip-Hop. Sometimes you listen to the music you did when you were young and it's just not as good as you remember, but that is really not the case with this album - it's still a classic. Snoop's lyrics are smooth, seamless and catchy, and the production values stand up very well even with today's hip-hop. While people might point to Straight Outta Compton as the album that really caused gangster rap to take off, this album really thrust it into the mainstream in the UK. It's just a shame that Snoop was never again able to reach the heights of his debut album.

I have had a night of buying some classics tonight remanicing on my old hip hop and rap collections and buy those that I dont own in digital form, from the sugar hill gangs "rappers delight" to tupacs "do for love" and the great notorious BIGs "ready to die" and it wasnt until I heard the intro to ready to die until I realised to my great shame "oh my good god i forgot doggystyle!!" its perhaps the first rap album I owned (on tape) and I never bought a digital copy of it :O just every track is a certified classic, and I love every second of it. Not much a fan of snoops newer stuff, but back in these times he was the king and well deserving of his dogfather status.

Had an initial delivery issue where this went missing on the UK side, not the sellers fault. Promptly and professionally handled my issue, resent and arrived well packed, Can't fault them. Finally got this classic on vinyl

This is such a cool album. Gave this one to a dear friend as a gift and he loves it so much. Every time I visit him, we hang around his house with his stereo turned up to way too loud, listening to this album. My personal favorite by the doggfather. Recommend it to Classic West-Coast Hip-Hop lovers. Essential piece to add to your collection!

cd arrived with in 2 days which was great very happy. This album by far is a classic and if not snoop dogs best album which i think it is. i cant really say enough good things about this album that's not been said by other reviews already so pick this up and add it to the start of your rap collection like i have.

Great album great artist. Snoop Dogg makes great albums and has good colab's, this album's one of the greats and this is the right place to buy from at such a cheap cost & quick delivery time. Many songs on this album are very catchy and don't get old, on many other artists albums I find myself skipping tracks, but this is not one of them.

Not bad, I watched his life story and thought I should have a listen before rubbishing all rap music (as a lot of it is commercialised tosh these days.) A lot of swearing but I guess he was quite angry back then
