Full Flavoured
I took a chance on this tea, haven't used it before. Brewed up a pot with 2 teaspoons of tea, 205 degrees F, and 3 minutes steeping in my tea maker. When pouring it in my mug I was slightly concerned that it looked weak coloured however what matters is the taste. It was delicious, with a few drops of Monkfruit sweetner and some milk. Shared a cuppa with the wife and she liked it as well.I then brewed a second pot with the same leaves, extending the brew time 30 seconds. Just as delicious. If you are looking for a black loose leaf tea with good cocoa flavour, look no further.

chalky
It is vaguely tea-like, but mostly like chalky hot chocolate.

Good flavor
Good flavor, very powdery. I’ve been putting cocoa in my tea for awhile but does not stay in a tea bag well.

Puerh with cocoa powder
I thought this was going to have chocolate notes within the tea itself naturally, but it's just loose puerh with cocoa powder mixed in. And yes, it tastes as gross as it sounds.

Dessert with health benefits in a cup of tea
Very good tea quality from this company. This is my favorite pu’erh tea with cocoa. It’s a healthy dessert in a cup of tea.

Worse idea than it sounded
Ok, I am open to the possibility that this is intended specifically for people intending to make milk- or cream-based preparations, but infused with water it's awful--this is prepared with literal cocoa powder, which creates a disgusting muddy-looking infusion that is especially offputting at the bottom of the pot, where it settles into a kind of grainy sludge. Pot, cups and infuser all have to be washed or the Slimy Leavings will contaminate the next brew. Additionally, this is a pretty bad puerh--flat, dull, no fishy odor but nothing much to experience but the acrid, cloying cocoa. And at this price point for such totally unremarkable puerh? Bah. Yuck.
