Not the best ever
A lot of the pencils leads were gritty. Not artist quality, but not the worst either

Great student grade pencils
Great pencils for little kids. Lots of pigment. A really good amount of color lays down. But the pencils do not blend. They have hard leads that won’t break.For $30 I can get 24 prismacolor premier portrait set. And there’s no comparison between the two.These pencils are great for kids.
