Works great. Great price.
This was easy to install and setup. I did have to turn off 5G on my router. I hope they will offer a switch with dimming. The switch is easy to setup with Alexa and Google. The instructions are excellent.

Easy Setup, Works Well, but Flickers in the App
The setup was straightforward, and the switch works well overall. I connected it to the Tapo app and HomeAssistant without any issues. However, in both apps, the switch appears to turn ON and OFF frequently, even though the actual light remains unaffected. While this doesn’t impact functionality, the flickering status in the app can be a bit annoying.

Worked perfectly and at a great price!
I started replacing single pole switches with Kasa smart switches. This was the first 3 way I had to replace. Here is my setup, 3 separate switches, powering on 4 lights in the hallway at the same time. I shutoff the breaker, looked at the wires of the center switch, which I think had 2 traveler wires and 2 power wires. That didn't seem like the correct spot to put this switch. I then looked at the first switch in the sequence, which matched the inputs of this smart switch. Disconnected the original switch, connected the two traveler wires, line in, neutral and ground. Flipped the breaker and to my surprise, it all worked, zero issues. Just ordered new, regular switches for the other two spots as I need paddle switches to match the rest. Integrated this switch with Alexa, all good.

Note: only ONE smart switch needed per circuit
Switch works great, installed using Matter to connect with Google Home.Note that unlike some other smart switches, this uses only ONE smart switch per circuit, the other 3 way switch (and 4 way switch(es), if using) should be regular dumb switches. This also means:- You can only install this switch at the load or line end of the circuit, not the middle -- so you may be limited in which switch gets replaced with this smart one- You only need a neutral wire in the one box you're installing this switch in. (This finally let me install a smart switch for my 4-way hall light, which doesn't have neutrals in 2 of the 4 boxes.)- You can use a dumb 3 way dimmer at the other end, although that will be manual control only (worked perfectly for me, as the hall lights are too bright and so I keep them at 50% brightness all the time )Finally, note that the Tapo 3-way dimmer switch (TS515D) does NOT work this way - it only works for 3-way (not 4-way) and you need to replace BOTH switches.

Works as intended but blinks and generates random ON/OFF messages
I am using this switch with Home Assistant and it was easy to install, came online with no problems and operates as intended. However, the LED on the switch periodically blinks and, when this occurs, ON/OFF message pairs are being sent to the HA log. The controlled light does not actually blink. I have contacted TP-Link and they have provided updated firmware that reduces but does not eliminate these messages. Hopefully they can resolve it and I can update this review.

Difficulty setting up, but it just works now.
The install was pretty straight forward and worked just like installing any other light switch. When it came to setup, I had some difficulty using the app to connect to WiFi. I had to reset the switch several times and force quit my Tapo app. Once it was connected, it has been great. I have it setup to some outdoor lights on a routine that turns on after sunset and off at sunrise.

Better app, better hardware.
I agree with others that it "feels cheap" but you'll likely never notice once it is installed. Screw terminals for hot and neutral eliminate a couple of wire-nuts in the gang box (replacing a Wemo), so there's more room. Matter setup is simple, app setup is simple. Handles my mesh WiFi better than Wemo. Connects faster, responds faster, no dodgy Alexa skill needed for integration. All at 1/4 the cost. Belkin Wemo can go to...
