Needed to be alerted of movement around my house with at least three receivers synchronized for three different areas of my house. Charge each sensor prior to use and check sensors alert tone prior to setting them up. Receiver was easy to set up with time, chimes, and volume. Once I synchronized all three receivers all 8 (that is the max) sensors worked like a charm. Distance was maxed at 100ft with no dropouts of signals (front yard to back yard with 3 floors). Worked like a charm. You may have to play around with sensitivity and positions to get the best coverage.... it works well for me!

UPDATED - again - this vendor gets better and better with every day that passes - they refunded my initial price (or so they claim yet nothing on the card yet) - BUT - they've now charged a tax - why? the item's returned - so when I say stay away from this vendor I MEAN STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENDOR!!!!UPDATE - and if this was not that bad - LOL - THEY WILL NOT REFUND MONEY unless you reply to their email "Full refund" - really?!?! stay away from this vendor like the plague !!!!!I would give the vendor a negative -100 and the product a negative -50 - but they don't allow negative numbers - perhaps they should for complete garbage like this -The first order took over 3 months and it's still showing in transit - I guess it sunk somewhere around the South China Sea - The second order came after over a month - First off, it's a piece of the cheapest garbage I've touched in years - I can't even imagine how this would last one winter outdoors - second, one of the door/window sensors was ratling like crazy - I imagine someone stomped all over it then repackaged it - and best of all, the boxes looked opened and repackaged - I guess someone else opened the box, noticed the broken item, repackaged it all and then after it got returned they sent it my way -A-stay away from thsi vendor!B-don't bother with this product - UNLESS you buy it for your kid's tree house - then it may be a good purchase but NOT for a real driveway!!

I wasn’t sure how many I wanted to put around our house. But glad I got the one with 4. I will admit I didn’t see in the description that they have to be charged and the instructions said that it only holds the charge for 24 hours. However this product under promised but over delivered. I charged them for 2.5 hours each and placed one out to see how it preformed. With the solar charger it has been doing great. I haven’t charged in 3 days. Maybe the instructions should say that after the first the solar charging will keep up. We are in a very sunny state so I don’t know how it will work when there are clouds all day. Motion detection is very good. I have it on high sensitivity. For the money value I would buy them sooner then waiting as long as I did. It took someone stealing our truck in town that I was worried someone had our address now. I also bought cameras for all over our place.

Very happy with this product. Directions were easy to follow & easy to install. I especially like the fact I can set the sound different for each driveway entrance.
