I got these gorillas due to seeing them all over YouTube for my grandkids to play with. They are very well made. I even enjoy using them for hand exercises for my arthritis in my hands.

The media could not be loaded. This is a unique toy. The size is great, and I like the color choices. I have not had anything like this before. It is full of sand, but the sand does not move fluidly like most sand squeeze toys. You actually have to press and stretch for the sand to move. The arms do not have as much sand, and those stretch the farthest. I think this toy might be appealing to a lot of people because it is so different. You can actually make different expressions on the face by squishing the sand around. You can also make it not look like a gorilla at all. In order to get it back to its original shape, you have to knead and squeeze the sand back into the stomach and head, and then you have to do smaller presses to get the sand into the crevices. Reshaping this is actually a good kind of puzzle. I never got this one back into its original shape before I gave up. This would be a delightful gift!Some of them have a bit of sand on the outside when you open them, so you need to rinse them. My main complaint, besides the sandiness, is that these do NOT spring back into shape. I stretched it and waited over 10 minutes, and it did not change at all. (See side-by-side identical images above.) I also think that the tiny feet are disproportionate. The paint was beginning to come off when I stretched it very wide.

The kids love these for some reason. I’m not if they last a long time but they were a huge hit!

These are fun fidget toys. They squish and are very cute. They would be excellent stocking stuffer for the holidays or as a fun gift. My one issue is that they do not spring back to shape as stated in the description. I attempted it with multiple pieces and even left them overnight. No changes. I was interested about how this toy feels. This is a combination toy that is good for different needs. For most kids it's fun to streatch, then to watch it come back to its original shape. But this would also be useful for kids that need to strengthen their hand and arms, and while still having fun. The toy has a feel of maybe sand on the inside, it feels a little lumpy at first, but it has a nice feel to squeeze it. The out side has a very durable rubber covering, but yet still soft. The price of these is very doable, for kids parties and such. Oh and the Gorilla is just cute.

The sandy material in these feels very squishy and it is nice to squeeze around. The material stretches really good. My grandsons enjoyed playing with them for a little bit, and I think they'll pick them up now and then for some good sensory stimulation from the feel of the squishing and stretching. However, the gorilla shape will never really be seen again. Once you disrupt their shape with squeezing and pulling, you don't get it back. The materials inside are better for squishing than most other squishy toys, but the original shape gets. lost. You end up with a really weird and deformed gorilla laying around the house.
