Surprisingly these are better than expected. They are not cheaply made- good material- clearly good vinyl that will be waterproof. Fit well.

Prevents feathers from sticking out of pillows

Feather throw pillow came with a new sofa. They did NOT use feather proof liners. I will plucking out the feathers that were stabbing me at a rate of about 10 feathers a night. These liners cured that problem completely. I've recommended to the furniture for their future sales.

I bought a couple of these in order to start experimenting with making my own pillow inserts using the materials readily available on Amazon. These were highly rated, and I wanted to be sure to have the moisture resistant barrier in case anything went sideways with the memory foam. The target was a set of 26x26 pillow covers, so I purchased these. They arrived in a bag which is sealed in a way that makes sure you know it's new, and the inserts looked as expected once opened. There is rustling when they move but it's less than the inserts on here with "cotton fabric" covering if you catch my drift. I set them and the supplies together and a couple days passed.I arrived back to get ready to make my pillows! I grabbed the two covers, did a quick measure, and... the protectors are 28x26.5, not a true 28x28. By happenstance, in the couple of days that had passed I had ordered a set of lovely pillow covers that were 26x26... and arrived as 28x26.5...So these will fit my use case but I may need to put the cotton pillow cover through the dryer once on high first. Can't tell you if these will block quills, but the sizing might not be exact.

Work perfectly feather, staying in

I love the way these covers feel. I bought both feather down and down imitation pillows and i love these for both. My favorite detail is how they feel thick and sturdy. They do not feel cheap like plastic bags when you lay on them and I do not worry about my pillows getting messed up from wear and tear or spills and the pillows with down, they feel so nice now and I don’t get stabbed with feathers. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

I have down throw pillows in my living room and the covers that I had still allowed feathers to work their way out. Needless to say, it is very uncomfortable to have feather quills sticking into your back. These are great! Feathers contained! I bought the next size down from the actual pillow size, ie. For 22” pillows bought 20” covers and for 18” pillows bought16” covers. This keeps the pillows from flattening out with use. Zippers seem secure and durable.
