Worth a try as a good alternative
Good cost alternative to in person procedures or other products advertised onlinhe but it does require disinfecting after use.

poor delivery system and packaging
I love a good micro-needling facial. But they are so expensive, so I've been interested but hesitant to try a home version. Just...not...the...same. Okay, so to be honest, I didn't really expect it to be. I mean, I'm not a professional so not going to get professional results. But...I couldn't even get that far in using this product. The packaging is ridiculous - it comes in two parts, a vial of serum that is almost impossible to open and the applicator, which must be soaked in alcohol for 10 minutes.First, why can't these just come as one part instead? Less packaging would be a whole lot simpler to use and more environmentally sustainable. the applicator opening is so small, its almost impossible to pour the serum from the vial into it. There's quite a bit of serum in the vial, so is this really a "disposable, one time" applicator? There's more serum than fits inside the applicator (so I rubbed it on my hands and arms so it wasn't wasted)Second, the vial is nearly impossible to open. There is a thick metal wrap around the rubber seal, which must be removed with scissors, tweezers and several cuts on my fingers from the thick, sharp foil. It appears to have been meant for an applicator lid to be attached to the vial, which would puncture the rubber seal. The directions on the vial say the same, but you have to get a magnifying glass out to read it (and I have good eye sight) so it seems the vial wasn't intended to pair with the applicator.Thirdly, the needling did not seem effective. There's just not enough needles. I tried it on both my arm and my face but gave up after several minutes and only accomplishing a small area - it would take a significant amount of time to apply to the entire face. The serum itself has a nice silky slip to it, and absorbs almost immediately. So, in the end, I decided to use the serum without the applicator - there's plenty of serum to last for several applications, but I'm disappointed with the micro-needling fail. so....off to make an appointment with my facialist!

Took some time to get used to
This product is ok for home use and to not have to worry about going to a salon or something for a microneedling session. It took me some time to get used to the process and I keep an alcohol swab on hand so I can disinfect it after each use. Once you figure out how to use it - to open the packaging, get the needling to work properly, the whole bit - it works fine but seems like more trouble than it's worth. Not sure I would order again.

Good Place To Start
I first purchased this thinking it was a good place to start being new to microneedling. The needles are only .25mm, so after reading up on it, I thought it was starting out small. Also, the ad says this is for a one time use which is incorrect. It must be sterilized between uses. If it were truly meant to be used only once , it wouldn’t have come with all that serum and such a large vial. This was confirmed by my dermatologist. The ad says one time use to keep you buying. Sad but true.I used this every other day for about two weeks, seeing a small improvement, so I turned it up a notch and purchased a .5mm head which I am waiting to receive. Hoping it really gets in there for these awful smoker’s lines.

Good quality serum and derma stamp that are effective
This item is home micro-needling kit that contains a derma stamp device with 0.25mm needles and a 10ml bottle of hyaluronic acid serum. You add serum to the derma stamp device to then stamp the needles on your face. They suggest a circular path over the area being addressed. I usually go up/down, across and then diagonal. I don't over do it and conduct one pass in each direction. Then you add some more serum directly and let the area heal, which is why they say to do it 2-3 times a week only. The most important part of this is good hygiene. The skin area needs to be cleaned and I always disinfect the needles before and after use. They say this is a one time operation, but if you disinfect the stamp you can use it again like any other derma stamp. I found that this serum works well on my skin and the derma stamp is a fine delivery system. The price point is on the high side in my opinion. Overall, this is a good entree into doing micro-needling as part of a skincare routine.

I can feel the needles.
I liked how I could feel the needles and the hyaluronic fluid being applied to my skin. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to feel the needles.

Not really for me
I was excited to get this because I‘d seen something like this on a dermatologist‘s YouTube’s channel. I had issues with it. First, Just opening the vial to get the serum out was extremely difficult. Then once I got it out, I put it in the vial and started to try and use it. The directions tells you to use it in circles. I have no idea how they think that works. It feels like I‘m dragging glass across my skin if I‘m doing it that way. I then decided to just do a punch style, back and forth from the jawline and then all the way up to the top of my forehead. I also tried this on the back of my hand. I‘m allergic to the needles. I‘m still trying to heal my skin from the damage it caused. The skin on my face has healed a bit faster. I felt a bit more hydrated but that‘s the only thing I can say that‘s positive. That‘s the only positive I can say.
