Fish oil without the fishy taste. Great product.

Honestly, I was afraid to try cod liver oil. But I kept hearing how good it is for you.I finally got brave enough to try it, and was pleasantly surprised. There was no fishy taste, and no fishy after burp. To the tongue and pallet it just tastes like your eating a healthy oil. Don’t be afraid to try it.

I love that the dosage is only 1tsp but it is basically oil with a slight slight taste of orange. Like orange essence maybe. Anywho, I mix a tsp of this fish oil with the barleans orange complete omega (add enough to make 1 tbsp omega mixture) and give it to my daughter. Makes it easier to take and she’s getting more omegas. I’ve noticed a huge change in her behavior and her language has exploded- extremely happy with this. Good source of omega 3, vitamin A

The price is reasonable.The taste is great (for fish oil that is). The citrus flavor off sets the fishy taste pretty well. And while you can still taste a bit of fishy, that's to be expected cause that is what it is. :-)I think someone else commented about this as well but...about a week after I started taking this, my dry eyes weren't so bad any more.And being that this oil is from mercury free fish, it's okay to take while pregnant. And I'm pregnant so I was concerned about this.It doesn't make the refridgerator stick either.The bottle has an easy, no mess top...like the ketchup bottles.I would recommend this over ANY other fisk oil out there...even over flax, which some people argue is better. However, if you're pregnant, you don't want to be taking flax oil because it can cause an estrogen imbalance.

This product is very clearly advertised as organic, and that is the reason I chose this one out of the many similar products available. However, the bottle I received is not labeled organic in any way. I compared the label on the bottle I received and the one in the photo being advertised. The difference is in the name of the company. The one on the Amazon website says "Barlean's Organic Oils." The one on the bottle I received just says Barlean's. No mention of organic anywhere on the bottle. Upon this closer examination I realized that the even the bottle in the photo on Amazon does not have the USDA organic label, so if you looked very carefully before ordering, maybe you wouldn't have the expectation that the product is organic, even though the title of the product as advertised is "Barlean's Organic Oils."In any event, I needed the oil right away so I did not return it and have been using the product. It seems pretty good and has worked well in the fruit and vegetable smoothies I make for my family. But if organic is important to you, do NOT buy this one.

I liked the lemon flavor and the effectiveness.

This product is usually fine, but I got a bad batch that was extra fishing tasting. No one in the family could stand it. Since you can't return this product, I'm out the money.
