Great for the price!
This sander has worked well for my purpose of occasional sanding. So far it has done a great job for the money I paid for it. I recommend it.

Great for small jobs and tight spaces, but wish I'd gotten one with a dust catcher
This is a great little sander that would be perfect for small projects and getting into tight spaces on larger projects. I ended up buying a random orbital sander also because I had a large project that was taking too long on the first couple of passes and the random orbital is better for the 40 or 60 grit. Then I use the palm sander for small spaces and sanding 80 and above. It will do 40 or 60 grit, but takes much much longer, which may be fine if you only have a small project. The random orbital sander I bought has a dust catcher which is so nice to have that I wish I had paid a little more for one with a dust catcher. It was awkward to use hooked up to a vacuum, and I broke the plastic attachment trying to make it work. Still, a great sander for the price!

Perfect for basic jobs
If you’re needing to get medium to large areas sanded, without overworking your hands, this is perfect. Only negative is that for smaller projects, back end is somewhat too wide, but the triangle shape helps to navigate around or through for positions.

it works
I like this sander. I had trouble putting the sand paper correctly on. Being elderly my hands were not strong enough for this task. Once it was ready it worked fine. Now I can finish my projects. I do recommend this to anyone as it is smaller than most.

Great sander not too much vibration
Sanding pads hang on great not too much vibration east to hold and work with

mediocre, but versatile tool.
I haven't used too many random orbit sanders in my day, but the ones I have used are brushless electric motors. This is a brushed electric motor, so it gets up to 12000RPM, sure, but as soon as you're in contact with the surface of whatever you are sanding, the ability for the sander to apply torque to the surface is minimal until you get down to a couple hundred RPM. One one hand, this makes this machine a pretty slow and bad sander, on the other hand it makes it pretty versatile if you have the time to use it. I fall into the later bucket most of the time, so I won't be returning it, as someone else had (got this off Amazon Warehouse for $20). I can hold the sander off of the surface and let it spool up to full speed, let it contact the surface and get barely 2 seconds of actual sanding with high grit, or I can really grind it into the surface with low grit if I want to remove any material (it's not great at this). I could also probably put a buffing pad on it and buff with it while applying pressure, as it's slow enough when you contact your surface, but it wouldn't be great at this, as you'd be buffing pretty hard, which isn't the idea behind buffing. Dust collection works okay.Overall, not my favorite tool, doesn't blow my skirt up. But for $20 I can't do better.

Happy
I'm very happy with this sander. It works well, the dust catcher works well. I like the type of paper holder it has bcs I can put any paper I want on it, unlike the sticky kind.

Worst thing you'll ever spend money on
Plugged it in right out of the box and it barely vibrated. While pondering my poor choice of this product it did speed up a little like it had to warm up but still probably wouldn't take dust off an end table. Ended up taking the pad off of it and modifying it to fit my old one and trashing the rest so there is some comfort I guess.
