I used to use Absorbine's liniment gel on my horses years ago and it was an integral part of my kit, hands down.I now have a senior American Staffordshire Terrier that became a hind leg amputee 5 years ago due to cancer (osteosarcoma). We've been so lucky with how well she recovered but now in her golden years being on 3 legs has started to take a toll on her back & hips. I of course give her Cosequin, Glucosamine & Omega 3's daily though.She gets regular chiropractic adjustments done but a few weeks ago her doctor said she was too tight to even attempt an adjustment so she got sent home with some muscle relaxers & antiinflammatories.The next day when this magical bottle of Absorbine Veterinary Liniment Liquid arrived on our doorstep was a true game changer.The first time I gave her just a short 10 minute gentle spine, hip & hind knee rub/massage. Halfway through she arched her back like her rent was due and stretched all three legs out as far as her little tippy toes could reach. When we were done she got up and did head-to-tail wiggly shimmy shakes and proceeded to hop and jump around as if she were a young'n again.She has very sensitive skin and there wasn't a single flake of dryness or a bump of irritation.The formula is such that the liquid isn't runny so you don't have to worry about making a mess. What little wasn't absorbed into her skin was fully dry within just a few minutes and any residue was easily wiped away just with a pass of my hand.The only thing I'm upset about is that I waited this long to add this into her care regimen!I'm buying a bottle for her doctor who is also the one who does her chiropractic adjustments. Forward to work very well it seems that have to add a lot to the area whichever is sore normally I use a washcloth soak it really well and then apply it to the area where I'm really hurting or sore
