To start off positive: The content of the book is decent. That's about it.As far as the rest goes: Right of the bet this book feels flimsy AF. It feels like a free or cheap magazine, not like a book, especially not like a book of this price point. The design of the book is also horrible. I know the book is a one man job, but he could at least have hired some designers. And no, I don't mind some of the blurry pictures, as pictures of some of the discussed items are hard to come by. What I do mind, however, is the outdated font that has been used, and the layout of every single page. It's just not pleasant to look at.It's a book that had a lot of potential but ended up being horrible at almost everything. I collect books, and this is BY FAR the worst one I own.

This is basically a homemade pamphlet. Should have been about $12.

This book is an essential for supreme fans and streetwear/ art fans alike, super informative. Nothing like it on the market. Very minimalist in its printing font etc. but nothing more is needed. Looking forward to perhaps more printed content from Supreme copies.

書名はコピーですが、ケイト・モスをモデルにしたカルバンクラインのポスターに、ロゴステッカーをゲリラ的に貼り付けたブランド設立当初のPR(表現)方法およびその精神性に敬意を評して、ヒップホップの作曲手法の一つであるサンプリングをタイトルにしました。まぁ、有り体に言えば、元ネタ集です。過去の商品と、その元ネタを見開き1ページ掲載しています。およそ100ページに渡って種明かしされており、舞台裏を覗き見しているようで大変面白いです。ただ、そういった紙幅の都合から、ブランド立ち上げ当初からのルックブック的な資料性はありません。また、どういった基準で商品を選択しているのか分かりません(インスタのアカウントにもあったように、supreme copiesが一番好きというチェリーニットとその元ネタ(ドラゴンへの道の通行人が着ている服)なんかは載っていません！)から、この評価です。英語ですが、短文ですし通読するのには苦労しません。

This is a cool coffee table photo book put together by a 19 year old kid who got curious two years ago about where Supreme got its inspirations for their clothing. So, he dug in, did the research and started an Instagram page to share that info with others. 85K followers later, it’s a book for easy and quick reference and just to show those who are unaware of Supreme how cool their clothing line is, especially for the uninitiated.
