First time use tonight, and Tracktive works great. It alerted me that one of my dogs had jumped our fence, showed me exactly where she was, updated in real time, and led me straight to her. What could have been hours of searching or a total disaster was resolved in 15 minutes.This model is the right size for my 60-75 lb dogs. I tried the XL first, which says it's for dogs 50 libs+, but it was far too very large and heavy for my (pretty big) dogs. This model is comfortable for them to wear around the clock, recharges quickly, and the battery lasts at least two weeks. I'm very happy with this and highly recommend if your dogs like to lead the occasional life of crime.

Great product..Easy to use, Good updates, and great battery life! My dog is a sweet active Pitsky pup and 80% trained to come when called! However she loses all senses when we are out in the forest hiking and see's a deer to chase! I can track her to exact location. I also love the activity monitor because I feel guilty if she doesn't get enough exercise.. Its nice to see I am doing okay!

Great product so far after a few weeks of use. I liked the pricing of the unit and the subscription. The product's casing seems to be pretty delicate though so you may want to opt for the replacement plan if your dog plays rough. Mine already has some scratches from my dog running around. GPS speed and accuracy have worked pretty fast, and I've already gotten to test it out twice thanks to my dog being a chronic escape artist.

I wish I knew how much money I would waste on this. I thought it would be better than the halo… which was $9 a month. Now I spent $127 on the yearly subscription not even including the tracker to be extremely disappointed. The first day I bought it I tried putting it on, not even using force and the plastic ridge on the side that holds the elastic snapped. The live updates are awful, it’s been 10 minutes since the last update and it won’t show the live still. I also live in an area that has pretty good cell signal and she’s not far from the street/police station.

Item was easy to set up and subscribe, tracks my young dog to exact location. She's not allowed to roam, but sometimes she goes for a walk-around when we're outside anad not paying attention. Recommended.

It’s ok. The tracker fits on the collar fine and, when it is on, it works very well. The problem is having it on when you need it, and tricking the system into working the way you want it to. It goes into a low power mode when you are in a “safe zone”. When in low power mode, location detection is significantly less accurate. Trouble is that the smallest safe zone you can make is the size of three or four houses in a suburban neighborhood. That doesn’t help much when you want to make sure your dog stays on your property. You can also make no-go zones and that is your best bet to trick the system into doing what you want. Ignore the safe zones and build multiple no-go zones around your house and you will get alerts when you dog crosses into them. You will also have to keep the collar on live tracking, which will run the battery down, you will probably have to charge it nightly. Not as great as it says, but does the job.

My dog is an escape artist. Not the kind of 'artist' I wanted in the family, but there you have it. This device lets me know where he escaped and how he got there. It is interesting to track where he has gone and what neighbors he has visited. Today he got out, and the tracker said he was out in the water. I thought the GPS must be malfunctioning. But when I got to the area he was at, I saw that it was low tide and he was playing on the beach that would normally be underwater. Lesson well learned. Trust the GPS.

Tractive is the best tracking device that I have ever tested and used. I live in a very rural area and none of the other devices I tried worked effectively. All of them failed to get a signal, except for Tractive. It is perfect for keeping tabs on my dog and has an excellent set of features. It's like a fitbit for dogs. I highly recommend this product.
