When the Comfort Click belts (As seen on TV) came out about 15 (?) years ago I totally loved the idea. No set number of punched holes for the buckle, no more belts that didn't quite fit perfectly. That brand is still available but in my frugal world the price was kind of steep. I recently bought a cheaper alternative , and that particular one was a big mistake. The buckle didn't release easily and the whole thing looked cheap.I was happy to have run across this Bostanten one as it had the buckle design that I was familiar with that works well. I was really please when it arrived. The color of the belt and buckle was perfect, and the quality was outstanding. Looks like a much more expensive belt than it was. Came in a really nice box, so these would also be great as a gift. I do have to point out one thing. It is not Italian Leather as stated ( I dissected the part I cut off). In spite of that I feel it will hold up very well as the material it is made of looks to be high quality. I liked it so much I still gave it 5 stars in spite of the fact that I was disappointed in the, shall we say, less than honest material description.

It's just really cool. Adjustable in length by trimming a bit. Adjustable day by day, bit by bit, as my weight invariably fluctuates. Only worn a couple of weeks, but so far so good. Holding up in fit and finish. I actually just ordered another in another color. And its cheaper than the junk I was buying at Wal-Mart that wasn't nearly as functional.

I purchased both the brown and black belts. First time using these ratchet style and these are very easy to use. The release lever is simply the front portion of the buckle. On the back side of the belt there are size markings so it's convenient to adjust the length to your waist.

I have been on a ratchet belt bender for a while. I have found that I like this kind of buckle better than the solid color ones as they tend to get scratched easily. This one also does away with the little lever and you just pull up on the buckle itself. I find it easier to use. Ratchet belts make it so easy to adjust to just the right size on any given day.
