This was a perfect fit for a commercial deep fat fryer. The wire for the thermometer is really long, you only need to uncoil the amount that you need to reach the thermometer holder, leave the rest coiled up inside the device.

So had to use my meter trial and error type thing.... &I gave up lol for now anyway. Bad thing it's for a customers food warmer at their gas station.
