A Work of Art, Really!
This thing is a work of art. I am very pleased. I was building a duplex hotspot with on-board surface mount antennas and did not want to use a metal case as it would seriously lower the range of the hotspot. I ordered this and it is exactly what I needed. Fit and finish is perfect. It also includes a top piece with a hole for an antenna if your MMDVM board has one. I will buy again when I need one.

Great Case
I like this case. It's like putting a puzzle together but the end result is a nice looking hotspot. Thought there might be a heat problem with it but haven't had one, it has never gone into the orange or red zone on Pi-Star or WPSD. So I bought another one.

Great case but sharp
It's a good enough case. The acrylic is nicely cut. It can with extra pieces if you don't want a hole for the antenna. The r round recessed nuts that go on top however aren't machines very well. It has sharp edges. If you do the logical thing and apply pressure to the nut while tightening the Phillips head then when the nut spins (due to sub par threads) it will cut your finger. Ask me how I know

Case was not up to par in manufacturing
I must have gotten a bad case compared with others.First, holes were not drilled all the way through on 2 pieces. On step 6 where is looks like the little corner pieces should go around the face plate to the RPI were not wide enough and trying to fit them together both corner pieces broke. Not happy with this kit.

I used as a replacement for the metal case on my MMDVM hotspot.
Good quality and easy to put together. Protecting paper on individual pieces peeled right off easily, (The directions tell you to soak it in water for easy removal which I found unnecessary. I used this as a replacement case for my MMDVM hotspot ,which came in a solid black metal case, I purchased from Amazon at this link. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BTS738L/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1It was an exact fit replacement except for the antenna hole which was slightly off-center in my hotspot so I had to drill it out a little on this case to get it to fit correctly. Replaces the metal case on this hotspot, reducing the chances of the pins on the board from shorting out on the metal case. Highly recommend with a great price.

It really has no taste but works well
I couldn't wait to dig into this pi. I put two scoops of vanilla ice cream in a bowl and threw the pi in. The case makes it very hard to taste. I pretty much just taste a plastic like flavor, nothing like raspberry??? Anyway, when I cleaned off the ice cream and configured it I was able to use for DMR, Fusion and D-Star. Works great, but tastes horrible!

Great fit
Cool case. Processor runs about 104 degs F in mine. No instructions came with mine and I couldn’t find the directions online or on YouTube, A simple picture showing the order of stacking the pieces would be a big help. I liked it enough that I bought another one for my spare jumbo spot. Took a couple hours to figure it out and assemble but was good entertainment for the day for not a lot of money. Next time should be easier.

Looks so Nice!
Very nice case for the JumboSpot. So much better than the cheap metal case it came in. The hole for the antenna was too small but an easy fix with a drill. Looks so nice!
