This Zipper Tie is pre-tied and easy to use. When worn, it will look like a standard Necktie. However, a zipper in the tie tail allows the collar to quickly expand and fit over the head without having to tie a knot. These pre-tied ties are popular for individual use, but are also great for creating a uniform look among your group or staff. Instructions -The zipper must be released before wearing this tie. To do so, grasp the knot in one hand and, with your other hand, give a slight tug to each side of the neck loop to free the zipper. Repeat if necessary. Do not pull hard, as this may break the zipper. To wear the zipper tie, pull the loop wider (moving the zippered tail up) to fit the tie over the head. Adjust the band under the collar, then pull down on the tail to tighten the tie. Rubbing the zipper with wax paper or candle wax will help keep the zipper tie working easily and smoothly.

Nice tie
My 15 year old son needed a tie for his homecoming dance, but everything we found in local stores was either too long or just too wide for his body type because he’s quite thin. This tie was perfect for him, and the pre-tied zipper function made it super easy for me (I’m not great at tying ties). The zipper locks when it’s pushed down so the tie doesn’t loosen on its own, which is really nice, but freaked my son out until I explained that he only needed to lift the zipper so he could loosen the tie. A great looking tie that arrived quickly!

Senior grandson used this for his pictures
It is a great inexpensive tie for a teen to used when him or his grandmother don’t know how to tie a tie know. Look great on him. Length was perfect for his 6’2” frame, zipper functioned as described and being a junior firefighter the color red was perfect for this setting.

Works ok but zipper is tricky...
It worked fine but the zipper lock/unlock is a little tricky. Still a good item and much better than a traditional tie.

Great Tie
I bought 2 of these ties for my elderly father. He loves the colors, the fabric and the ease of getting them on and off. There was a problem with the zipper not working right on one of the ties but I contacted the company and explained the issue and they sent a replacement right away. I would buy these again.

broke after pulling on it
The product looks good and the material is good but when I tried to take it off, it was a bit difficult. I pulled harder and the zipper underneath the tie came loose so now it is a bit lopsided where only one side can be pulled. I don't know if I just pulled it the wrong way.
