Glory be to GOD!! Thank God that I found this product! Thank God for the person who started this company! Thank God for the people who work at Nioxin! Thank God for my hairdresser who recommended it! And Thank God that IT WORKED!!!I'm an early 40's female. After the first time I had COVID, I noticed my hair was falling out. Not in "clumps" so to speak, but definitely more than usual. The hair loss had started about a month after and seemed to subside within another month or two. But after this last time I had COVID, just when I thought the hair shedding was getting better, it got worse again.I love baking and cooking for others, but my hair shedding got to a point where I thought I'd never be able to do that again. One of my BIGGEST FEARS was that someone would find a hair in the food I made. It did happen to my immediate family a couple of times, and that was bad enough. But if it happened with friends, neighbors, or at a church potluck?! Oh, that would be mortifying! It was stressful to say the least.I had my blood tested and no hormonal imbalances, no deficiencies. As far as I knew, I didn't have any hair re-growth issues. But the growth just couldn't keep up with the loss. When I washed my hair and combed it out, I could see scalp far too easily. I became concerned. To a point where I perused the wigs on Amazon...in case it came down to it.I also looked for hair growth shampoos, but I didn't want to pick just anything. I can be a bit of a conspiracy theorist when it comes to everyday products. Are these people truly offering me something that will help? Or will it hurt me only enough to try and get me to buy more product? How can I trust just any product off the internet? So, I asked my hair dresser. She recommended Nioxin System 2 for me.It seemed expensive, but I was willing to try it. And I was SHOCKED that after my FIRST WASH, I had significantly less hair loss! I wondered if perhaps my old shampoo had some chemicals that just killed my hair!I continued for a month, shampooing (It has a really good lather), combing the conditioner through my hair with my fingers, and adding the foam to my scalp with every wash. In the attached picture that shows my wash-by-wash progress, I finally hit a day where I had LESS THAN 15 STRANDS LOST IN ONE DAY by Wash 20. I was SOLD! Of course, I've continued to use it. After the first month, I changed from using the foam everyday to only 3-4 times a week. It's been almost 3 months now, and sometimes I still have 10 or so strands, and a little more so when I skip a day to wash my hair. But there have also been days where I've only had 2 or 4 strands of hair lost from my wash. IT'S TRULY AMAZING!!!Keep in mind that when I talk about hair loss on Nioxin (and the attached progress pics), I'm only referencing hair lost from the wash and conditioning. It's not reflective of a full day's loss. I had some in my hairbrush after, but not enough to make a significant difference. I rarely see loose strands on my shirts, and I haven't had one stuck in my bra since I started. (Ladies, you know the struggle. LOL)I love the minty scent! It's calming to me, and even more calming knowing that IT WORKS!!!I'll be honest. The foam does make my hair feel a little sticky when I put too much on. But it also makes my hair feel much fuller than usual and gives it great body! Before I purchased the product, I saw reviews with pictures of people with their face blotched red. The back of the foam bottle does say it's got a chemical that can cause temporary redness, but I haven't had any trouble with that. (But then again, I don't typically rub the foam on my face since it's supposed to be a scalp thing.)Also at this point, while I do see a little hair growth, I don't know if that's normal hair growth or growth due to Nioxin. It definitely doesn't feel too much thicker (without the foam), but I've heard your hair only grows 1/2 inch a month, so it will take some time.I thank God and Nioxin that I now feel like I have more of a chance to see myself with full, flowing locks again someday soon!

This stuff saved my hair! Not only was my hair thinning, but it was also always flat, lifeless, dull, and greasy within half a day of washing. No other shampoo/conditioner I tried helped. This stuff is amazing. I have noticed my hair filling in, and my hair is now shiny and bouncy. I'm not exaggerating when I say I will never use another shampoo/conditioner. I'm a customer for life! Here are some tips from me if you are dealing with the same problems I mentioned above:-Wash your hair TWICE. The first wash is to get any products/dirt/grease out of your hair. I use a cheaper shampoo for the first wash. The second wash is to clean your scalp. Use this shampoo and focus on massaging the shampoo all over your head.- The instructions tell you to massage the conditioner into your scalp as well as your hair. I know we've all been told to only put conditioner on our ends, but this conditioner is different. Make sure you do this!-Blow dry your hair, don't let it air dry. I don't know why, but air drying your hair leads to it being flat and dull. With this system you won't have to wash your hair every day (I can go two days now!), so you don't have to worry about heat damage to your hair.

I guess it depends on the type of hair loss you have, but this kit didn't do much to help me. If your hair loss is due to a dirty scalp, then this will definitely help—my scalp is in the best condition it's ever been. I don't get flakes or dandruff at all anymore, and my hair is very soft and clean. Unfortunately, as said, fixing my scalp didn't do much for saving my hair. I have thinning hair from my mother, so my condition is genetic and not hygienic.The only product in this kit that somewhat helped was the step 3 mousse. It creates a thickening effect, which gives the illusion of fuller hair. It's a bandaid to the underlying issue, but, hey, I'll take any help I can get.

After menopause, then covid, I tried so many things including Nutrafol and different shampoos for hair thinning. This has been miraculous. I don’t use any other products but this shampoo and conditioner now. Not only do I notice hair regrowth, but my hair grew so long so fast. It is a little but drying compared to other shampoo, but not too bad, and worth the benefits. I just try not to wash my hair every day.

I wasn’t sure if this was going to work or if I was going to like it. I lost around 50 pounds toward the end of last year and started losing a lot of my hair as well (did not expect that!) My thick hair and bangs started to become very sparse. My hair stylist actually suggested I try this shampoo and conditioner, and I kept forgetting to leave a review sooner but I’ve attached a before and after picture from 3 months of use!!! Look at how thick and shiny my hair has become! I’m so beyond satisfied and stoked that it’s actually working! Green hair is before: look at how thin and wispy my bangs were!!! Heads up these bottles are small! Also, I used the conditioner only twice. The conditioner made my hair feel really waxy even after rinsing. It was almost like I had dipped it into a melted candle. Once I used the small bottles, I ordered the larger, sold separately, bottles of the shampoo and scalp treatment. I have been using the product for about 9 months. I have to buy new bottles about every other month. I have noticed I have 1-2 inches of new hair growth since I started using these products. My hair feels so much healthier and fuller. PS my hair is curly and shoulder length.
