My daughter came home with lice a week ago, after an outbreak in her school. Immediately, I started researching the best treatment options. I recently used RID One & Done for an issue that was bothering my family. Its one-application guarantee really interested me because it promised less fuss and a simple routine. Unfortunately it did not work for me, I used it just like the directions said and washed all of my bedding and towels 4 times now. I was back at the dermatologist this morning and still have some left in my hair!!!

When I lived overseas, the specific country I lived in had recurrent lice infestations in all the preschools and grade schools. Ick. I guess I'm still traumatized (either by my childhood lice trauma or my kid's experience) because I snagged this without any specific need to use it - just to have on hand. Looks pretty aggressive but I imagine it'll get the job done. Maybe not for sensitive skin/scalps though. 4/5, good but not perfect.

Treating lice is a great additional use for ivermectin. I didn't have issues with lice, but rather some skin that would get itchy once or twice a year then flake off. I put this on the area following the directions by putting a small amount on the area, and wait a while to rinse. I left it on for 20 minutes. The area seems to be slowly returning to normal. I did this for several days. No way to be sure this is doing something, but will have to wait and see. I figure the stuff might help with other forms of parasites, mites, etc.The lotion comes out of the tube white and then it turns clear after a minute or so. It stays wet for the entire time, does not seem to soak in. A quick rinse with water makes the residue disappear.I am happy to have found a lotion form of ivermectin.

I give it 1 star only because it makes you to be able to leave a review. Worst product ever tried and I've spent thousands of dollars on treatments. Less than an hour after treating the crawling and itching sensation was worse than before I treated.
