Purchased for my son for his birthday. It's sturdy and and ideal size for me to keep all his pocket money in and his chocolate stash from easter and Christmas that he doesn't want his brother and sister getting their hands on because they've eaten there's in a week and he likes to make his last 🤣 easy to install, performs well with key code or key. Isn't heavy so is just sat on his chest of drawers and was easy to set up with very little in the way of needing screws etc if you're having it freestanding.

This works by setting a code and then using only that code. Not the same as hotel safes where you can change it each time allowing people to set own code.

I bought this to lock away prescription pills, so not really for valuables. For my purposes its fine. Not sure if it is really that secure for other purposes. The metal is fine, but the knob to open the safe if very floppy and plastic not metal.Cant comment on bolts, as just sat on shelf in cupboard. Easy to set combination, and comes with 2 override keys.If you need security, get a ‘proper’ fire safe.
