Absolutely perfect fit for the Sony RX100vii
I ordered two cases for the new camera, this being the one to carry the camera inside a larger bag, or indeed to link it outside a bag with a stronger replacement for the supplied carabiner.I keep an OP/Tech finger strap permanently attached to the camera and this fits neatly at the top when the camera is inside the bag. The bag itself is very light and a perfect fit for the camera - when the camera is inside there's very little wiggle room, just enough to be able to withdraw the camera easily from the bag when necessary. The flap is kept closed with velcro, although it's not very strong which is why I wouldn't recommend carrying the bag + camera attached to the carabiner outside another bag for extended periods. Similarly the supplied carabiner isn't very strong - I've replaced it with a better one.I like the bag a lot but regard it as the "inside" storage bag for the camera. If I'm taking the camera out and the weather forecast isn't too good, I use a stronger, weather-resistant Lowepro Tahoe CS 20. So the bag being reviewed here comes highly recommended for fit and ease of use, but with a safety warning regarding flap closure if you intend to carry the bag outside linked to something else with the carabiner. (I hope that last sentence makes sense ;) )

Perfect protection and Quick Access to Camera
There are a number of reviews on here that put this item down as being too tight for the Camera, or it being a struggle to put the camera in or get it out. That is just not true. I do not that one such review said it is tight but 'maybe' its because he has a handle accessory on the Camera. Well it donesn't say it takes the camera with an accessory handle. It is a lovely fit for the Sony RX100 IV, and I guess all of the various incarnations of that camera. It is not tight just very correct for the camera allowing anyone to easily insert or remove the camera. It is also neat and compact, a lot better than the official Sony Leather arrangement. Velcro tab is just fine, the hook is adequate, but given the price of the camera probably worth getting a bit better hook if you are going to use it.

I was really quite disappointed with this
I was really quite disappointed with this, for the price. The case is so snug that you have to wrestle very slightly to get the camera in and out, which is not difficult as the fabric is stretchy, but when you're on the move you don't want to have to do that. Also there is no strap attached to the case to hang round your neck - something which is normally provided I would think. I've actually taken my Panasonic Lumix out of it's lovely case and am using that instead. I should have sent it back really but I couldn't be bothered with the hassle. I wouldn't recommend this product. The only positive thing I can say is that the case itself is a neat little thing and obviously provides some protection for the camera.

Good and versatile.
There is probably no 'ideal' case for very small cameras because the way people use these cameras varies so much. This case is good protection (except crushing because it is not a hard case) but it requires a little technique to use in order to avoid pressing buttons and activating the camera when re-inserting it. That is as much a problem with small cameras as a problem with this case. What makes it worth buying is that the pictured case comes with a larger pouch (i.e. you can put the camera inside the case and then put the case inside the pouch, or just use the pouch). I will probably, on occasions, just use the pouch for discreet camera use when photographing my children - hopefully the absence of the Velcro 'ripping sound' will not alert the children to impending camera use and I can get those elusive 'natural' child photos

Too small
Too small for my Sony RX100 M4. Needs two hands to manipulate the camera in, a real faff. My camera does have an 'add-on' Sony grip though, don't know if this makes a difference but don't think it does by much. Just needs a few mm all 'round to make it easier getting the camera in, for which it was designed? The opening could also be made wider or even zipped rather than Velcro flap. Bought online so couldn't have tried it out first unfortunately!

Good Protection
An excellent protective cover for my Sony RX100 Mk 1V although it is the perfect size for all of this range

Snug fit... maybe a bit too snug when you are in a hurry
Nice material. It offers protection but at the same time it hugs the camera so doesn't take up much more space. It does make it a bit more awkward to get in the pocket though(but that can't be helped due to the camera itself being quite large for a 'pocket camera'), and the way the camera is housed in the case makes it a bit fiddly to get out and take a shot if you are in a hurry to take a shot.
