Plug is set crooked in/on the right angle boot. disconnects in hands
I've ordered two of these already; one for the dock set up and one for the handheld set up. both plugs are crooked. the adapter works great otherwise and is well thought design on the right angle adapter for powered playing. Unfortunately because the plug is crooked the adapter does not work fully because the plug rocks around in the port. I can managed to get sustained functionality with my docked set up but there's no way one could play and charge in handheld without a disconnect happening. impossible. yes i've used with and without the included bumper. I am using a Red Magic 10 pro mobile even, and need the bumper for the plug, even with the case on.

Worked for me with three functions in one, despite a shaky USB-C connection
I am no stranger to dongles, but this one was unique to me in that it could not only support a mic, headphones, and pass through charging, but it could also do so with a case on.And in my use of it: it actually can do this! There are some drawbacks, but overall everything sounds high quality and works smoothly for me.For me, the dongle itself was able to charge my phone (not included) by plugging in the integrated USB-C cable into my phone and using the power port on the dongle to connect a (not included) USB-C power supply. It does this while also delivering the same quality I’m used to from my USB-C wireless lav mic (not included) and sound output to my 3.5mm aux studio monitor headphones (not included). So: mic, headphones, and charging all worked while recording. The only thing is that this dongle has a deep USB-C connector for the phone which gives the advantage of being able to use it even with a thin case on a phone, but also means that the connection from the dongle to phone is a bit wobbly. I noticed this only when I physically moved the device, but I didn’t have an issue when everything was mounted and secured on a (not included) tripod, so it’s important to note that this might not be ideal for filming while moving around the device. Still, I like the build quality and the sound I’m getting, so I’m happy with this!I hope this helps!

Good for phones, great for chromebooks
This dongle is a little larger than most USB-C to 3.5mm converters, but it allows for charging passthrough and a USB-C data connection, and a headphone jack. The phone side of the dongle is pretty slim, and fits close to most cases, with a rubber filler if you're rocking a bare device. The cable is pretty thick, and can move the port side of the dongle when its not connected to any cords, but it feels nice and sturdy.I tried a few over-ear and in-ear headphones, and the sound quality is very good. With over ears, I didn't hear any background hissing when paused, but some of my more sensitive IEMs did have a noticeable hiss, that stopped a few seconds after pausing. That tells me it's more likely the phone or music app's fault.I also tried this on my chromebook (an original Lenovo Duet), which only has a USB-C port. Passthrough charging worked perfectly, as did audio playback, and now I have another data port for an external drive or webcam or whatever. The cable is long enough to allow for the dongle to be tucked away while in use, and honestly, this is probably where it's going to stay for now.

Rock solid. Charges, plays audio and does USB-C all at the same time. Great DAC and sound quality.
I'm able to use the adapter to charge the phone, listen to music from the headphones and use the USB-C plug for other accessories all at the same time. The sound quality from the 3.5mm is also really good and the DAC and amp they are using is really good quality.Charging and using the headphones, USB-C all feel well designed and though it gets warm, it can handle everything for hours without any problems. The devices work flawlessly and without interruption or issues. Just everything working rock solid. The adapter is really heavy duty; the cord is really thick and the connector all seem to be engineered to be very sturdy. One neat thing this connector does is that it is designed with phone cases in mind. The connector has a gap if you plug into your phone directly but then sits flush when using a case. They include a small rubber part that you can put in the connector if you don't use a case to make it flush. So, essentially, it works great with or without a case. I was really apprehensive that this would only work without a case but they have already thought about it and designed around this.

Huge problem if you use this for gaming.
1. This will not do any fast charging on Android/Samsung. Just like it says 15w is max which it does that. The issue is when I play a game for example it will drop to 3watts and hardly keeps battery from draining. It also may disconnect with moisture warning telling you about water in port.2. Like mentioned above if your not gaming it does 15watts just fine and works perfect for 3.5mm auxiliary or usb c audio.3. Comfort is very good great to hold and not heavy at all design is very nice.4. The price is very fair if your going for music focus only.5. I have not tried this on an iPhone for gaming so I can't comment on that.

Must have for XR glasses users.
This is the second version of this product that I picked up. This functions especially well with XR glasses like my pair of Xreal glasses. With that I'm able to watch movies and charge my device at the same time. It's puer easy to use as you just plug it in and it starts working. My only complaint is the design of it.The usb-c cable has port is just odd and unweildy to use. Also on many occasion the usb-c port would disconnect and reconnect taking out everything connected. The RedMagic really does have a good idea here. They just need to itterate a ew more times to get the dessign perfect.

It worked. Headphone jack + an external keyboard + USB power at the same time.
Worked fine on a Pixel phone on Android.PD USB power worked, charging at correct speed.Headphone jack works both on the phone and on the new headphone portA keyboard plugged into the 3rd port worked for typing right away.Apparently the headphone jack is a multi TRSS jack that also accepts a mic input. No complaints other than the USB-C male port is mounted a bit crooked, like at 85 degrees or something.
