Super sticky…not what I was expecting
The media could not be loaded. While the size and color are perfect the materialIt’s made of is super sticky…so much that it actually makes it difficult to squish. It doesn’t really have a smell but is quite sticky and makes you want to wash your hands after you play with it due to the film it leaves.

Stress cookies – far more enjoyable than what was expected and very sticky
Overall, these are better than what I expected, yet they are slightly disturbing in a fascinating way.The overall quality is better than what I expected. They come in their own individual heavy duty zippered bags, which is impressive. They come out of the bag nice and shiny, and with an unexpected scent. What surprised me was how soft and sticky they were. They are durable and tough, but because of their overly softness, they do show wear. After playing with the chocolate cookie for about 20 minutes, it showed a reasonable amount of wear. The original high gloss surface, especially on the back, was quickly replaced with fingerprints and micro tears from stretching it farther than what I probably should have. Washing it got rid of all the dust and crumbs that it picked up, but the glossy surface did not return. The chocolate cookie got a slight depression in one area, that did not go away, but other depressions did not form either. When looking at the degree of micro tears from heavy usage, it is not a surprise that they appeared with the degree of squashing and stretching that it received. I expected worse, so I’m pleasantly surprised how well it holds up. And with it being so sticky, the tears kind of self-heal, but give them a tug in the right direction, and they will expand; the stickiness does not repair the surface, it just gives the illusion of being repaired. One thing that I did notice, that when pulling the top and bottom away from the center layer, the three pieces of cookie can delaminate slightly. It’s not by much, but you can tell when pulling them apart. Looking closer, I did notice that with normal play, the layers were starting to show slight delamination too. I’m not really surprised, since these had to be made in stages to prevent the colors from mixing, so the bonding of the layers may not be perfect. To me, this delamination is not a detraction from the value of these toys, but part of the fun of seeing what will happen under extreme stress and then enjoying how they come back together due to their form and stickiness. In addition to some of the micro tears, and even some tiny chunks that can be pulled off when stretching it way too much, we noticed that some of the black coloring is getting mixed into the white center along the edges. It’s not that noticeable, but the speckling is there. Please see the photos below. There are a couple of things that I really don’t like too much about these though, but these dislikes are not significant to lose a star in the ratings. The first thing that I found a bit objectionable was the scent. I could not really tell what exactly it was; it was kind of like the chocolate cookie smell, but it wasn’t. This scent is strong enough to transfer to my hands, but at least it does wash off easily. I should note that the scent is not overly powerful, but you do need to get close to it to smell it. Overall, the scent is not the best, but it’s not a deterrent to playing with them either. The other thing that was not pleasant was the feeling of the silicone oils that would get on my hands after playing with them for a while. It’s kind of a greasy feeling, and I actively did not want to touch anything else until I was able to wash my hands. At least it did wash off easily too. It was a lot like the experience of the squashy and stickiness of the cookie, where it’s expected and part of the overall experience, but I would be hesitant to allow young children to play with this if they would be putting their hands in their mouths. The residue that formed on my hands reminded me of other soft rubber/silicone toys, that when left on wooden surfaces that have clear finishes like polyurethane, they could actually eat into the clear finish and leave permanent scars behind. I’m not sure if these would pose that kind of a risk, but out of caution, I would not let them sit on a wooden surface for too long. To be on the safe side of course. My review and time were spent playing with the chocolate cookie. The pink cookie, or the strawberry cookie, is pretty much the same as the chocolate cookie, but because the pink color is much lighter than the black coloration, I would think some of the traits of the chocolate cookie would not be as noticeable, such as the speckling of the white center layer. Also, from what I can tell, the micro tears and wear are not as noticeable either. The scent is similar to the chocolate cookie, but slightly different too. I’m not sure, but I think the scent is reminiscent of strawberries.Overall, I think these are fun toy cookies that can help relieve stress and provide some enjoyable amusement. They are not indestructible, but the way they do wear adds to their interest and charm. Considering how soft, stretchy, and sticky the silicon is, I would expect it to show wear. I’m not sure how long they may last, but they do appear to be durable enough to hold up to a lot of play and many washings. Please see these attached photos to better show the details:1. Cookies in their heavy-duty zipper bags.2. Cookies before being handled or played with. Wish I took photos of the chocolate cookie’s back to show how shiny and smooth it was.3. After about 45 minutes of play and stretching to extremes; showing the top of the chocolate cookie and how it’s held up.4. Close up of the bottom of the chocolate cookie which shows the depression and the micro tears on the surface. The shiny surface is gone.5. Another close up of the bottom of the chocolate cookie, but with slight adjustments to the lighting so the tears and surface texture are shown at a greater contrast.6. The center layer of the chocolate cookie, which shows the tiny black particles that have attached to the center layer. These specks will not wash away, even with hot water and a couple of different types of soap, and aggressive scrubbing and stretching and pulling.

Not anything like the reviews said
The media could not be loaded. This was not sticky at all like all the reviews said it would be. Not only that but it rips easily. although a good aspect to it was that there was no sticky stuff on my hands but I definitely would not buy this again 😕

Sticky, pieces flake off, but kids love
My son picked this out and although when it arrived we were both surprised by how sticky it was he was very happy with it. Only thing is little pieces of the lettering on it shed off onto his hands while holding it. Hair holds to it very easily so keep the little plastic zip locks they come in and try not to drop it lol
