Love It
I bought this for use on my black 2007 Chrysler 300C. Prior to this purchase I was using the detailer that came with the Mejuiar's Detail Kit, which is in the red bottle. The main reason I chose this one is the sprayer on the other bottle seemed to be defective. After purchasing three bottles in a row and having them all be defective I decided to try something else. I liked the product, just not the quality of the spray bottle.I know that's a weird reason to change, but I am glad I did. This is a superior product to the basic detailer. It cost a bit more, but it's worth it - although cheaper on Amazon especially with Prime's free shipping.I mostly use this after washing my car to give it a nice shine. Before using this product I often used a quick wax spray occasionally between normal waxing and then the detailer spray to remove any smudging the wax left behind. Using this product I no longer use the quick wax. This detailer does the job on it's own. Using a soft cloth you spray it on, wipe it off and buff. Leaves a nice glow on the black paint with hardly no effort. Works well on a warm surface too. I don't mean in the sun, but like after driving and the hood is still warm.I have also used it for a quick clean when the car has only a slight coat of dust that can be wiped off with a soft cloth prior to using the detailer. I wax my car at least once or twice a month so there is always a good coat of wax on the surface. I would not recommend using the detailer without washing first if your wax is no longer beading up when it rains. All that said, this is not a replacement for a good wax or spray wax for that matter. This is a finishing product that should be used on a surface that already has a decent coat of wax. Great for bringing out the best in an already clean waxed surface.Oh and the sprayer works much better too.

Great Product. A must for a full detailing of your vehicle
Great product and I highly recomment Mequiar's car care products. I use this in conjunction with their clay kit, which is a must if you really want a clean and reflective surface. Just waxing your car is not enough and although it takes more time to do the clay it is well worth it, from both a looks perspective and how long your paint will last. How I review:When I review a product said product automatically starts with four stars as I rarely will purchase anything below four stars. I then add and/subtract stars based on certain criteria as listed below.1. If an item is exactly what I expected and nothing more it will receive a four star rating2. If an item surpasses my expectations it will gain a star3. If an item goes slightly below my expectations it will lose a star4. If the instructions for the product (if needed) are poorly written (hard to understand due to language issues or grammar) or just too hard to follow it will lose a star no matter if the product meets or exceed my expectations5. If a product is significantly below my expectations I will deduct two stars6. It will be rare that I would give a product one star since I buy mostly items that have a 4+ rating but in rare instances there may be a good reason that even a four star product gets a one star rating from me. It could be because of customer service issues from the company but whatever the case is I will clearly explain my reason for giving a product only one star

Best spray detailer for black paint
Best spray detailer I've used. I own a black car and anyone that owns a black car they care about will tell u maintaining the rich dark deep black look is a full time job. Every spec of dirt/dust, bird poop, bugs, swirls exponentially diminish the look of black paint. So finding a quality detailer that provides lubrication on the surface as it cleans is absolutely crucial to keeping swirls and nasties away. I use this for light dustings but mainly use it immediately after washing/drying my car to remove any surface spots or dried residue before my wax coat.I've used turtlewax ice detailer and a few others but they all seem subpar compared to this one. I feel like they don't lubricate the surface as well and thus cause more swirls. This detailer seems to wipe stuff off easier and cleaner in less passes, thus less chance of swirls. Also helps very well with hard water spots. Maybe it's all in my head but I think it also helps the paint repel water just a tad better after, almost like a spray wax. Either way, I won't use anything other than this for my black paint anymore. It's a little more expensive but I think it's worth it for someone that truly cares for their paint.

I'm definitely happy with this product but it's not "amazing" like most reviews state
I used this product on my new black SUV. We all know how hard it is to keep black clean/shiny. It worked very well at making my vehicle shiny but I just don't think it's the "wonder" product that most people describe in their reviews here. I followed the directions & even bought the Meguiars X3080 even coat applicators listed on this page. I guess I should have bought the bigger micro fiber towels because my arm started to cramp up after a while but I guess live & learn. As far as repelling water it still left rain stains on my vehicle but I must admit it was pouring pretty hard. It's still a good product but I suggest you buy the bigger micro fiber towels & you must follow the directions & leave it sit for a good 12 hours to work properly, kind of a con to me. To be honest I have the original California Car Duster (you can buy it here on Amazon) & I think it works better than this (or just as well) & you don't need to wait 12 hours for the product to properly "cure".
