Aloe Vera Juice is the first ingredient.
Aloe Nourishing Body Wash by Aloderma comes in a 16.2 oz pump style bottle and is primarily a plant-based product featuring organic aloe vera juice as its main ingredient. The other ingredients like shea butter don't seem to also be labeled as 'organic.' No fragrances, which is nice if you are sensitive to that, and it has a neutral smell to it. It does suds up very well as Sodium Laureth Sulfate which is used as a foaming agent is the second most common ingredient. I personally don't have an issue with Sodium Laureth Sulfate, which is in all sorts like shampoo and toothpaste, but I know that some folks shy away from it because of potential sensitivity or other concerns. Check with your skincare professional if you have questions or concerns about specific ingredients. It says it has 'No Preservatives' in it, which to be frank is not something I want. I don't want bacteria, mold et al growing in my toiletries, skin care or make up - but 'No Preservatives' seems to be a popular claim these days of so called 'Clean Beauty.' I suspect what they mean is no Artificial preservatives because it has citric acid in it which you wouldn't put in there unless you were using it as a preservative, would you? Why is it made in China? Well, if you read why here and on their website they take great pains to explain this and you might understand their reasoning better. They grow Aloe Vera in the US, throughout the Americas and India, not China, is the world's main source of Aloe Vera. It's cheaper is usually the main motivator for American companies to produce in China rather than domestically, but the claim here is they get the best Aloe Vera from China in the farms they own there and it’s something they 'pride themselves on.' Seems a little pricier than the body wash that you might get from the drugstore or supermarket as it seems more in line with the skincare aisle. That said, if you are looking for a body wash that features organic and Chinese Aloe Vera juice, then this might be the perfect product for you.

Everything about this is wonderful
I am so impressed with this shampoo. It smells fantastic and only needs about half a pump to get a full head of lather. I used a full pump and it was too much. It was like wearing a meringue on my head! The scent is divine and the lather rinses clean. I love everything about this. A+

Left hair nice and soft, with no need to use conditioner.
I was pleasantly surprised with this shampoo! I was uncertain at first - it has a very creamy look to it, and it wasn't the consistency of my regular shampoo. It says it has tea tree in it, but it is certainly not an overwhelming scent, I did not notice it. If anything, I thought it was an odd scent for an aloe shampoo, rather neutral, maybe reminescent of my mother's sunroom with all her plants. I usually use conditioner in my hair, but was in a rush when I used this and did not use the conditioner that day. Usually, when I don't use conditioner, my hair gets all tangled, and takes forever to brush out. Not this time! I had absolutely no trouble brushing my hair immediately after showering. More than 12 hours later, my hair is still feeling soft - I'm not used to this, and I think I'm liking it!The company makes a big deal about the aloe they use in this - it is listed as the primary ingredient, and the advertising says they grow their own, and only aloe from 3-year old plants..... I'm noticing SLS is in this, so if you have a need to avoid sulfates, this might not be for. The price strikes me as a bit steep - right now it is roughly $20 for 16oz. But this could very well be a case of 'you get what you pay for'.

Simplified my hair routine, and made my hair feel healthier and nourished
I’ve only used this conditioner once and I already love it. I have fine, brittle, dry hair that never seems to hold onto moisture. I decided to try this conditioner using my normal shampoo first, and no leave-in conditioner or added hair oils afterwards as a test to see how it compared to my normal hair routine. After washing my hair, letting the conditioner sit on it or a few minute, rinsing it out, and drying my hair, I noticed that my hair felt smoother, softer, and healthier than usual - even with no extra products afterwards. I’m usually not able to get away without using some kind of hair product to smooth out and add moisture to my hair after using only my usual shampoo and conditioner in the shower. This conditioner really worked for me, and it simplifies my hair maintenance. The bottle of conditioner came sealed in plastic, which I appreciate in case it happens to leak during shipment. The pump top is a good size and dispenses a good amount of product. It comes depressed and needs to be twisted and pulled up to work, as many do. I did notice that when I released the pump top, there was a very small amount of conditioner leaking from the part where the pump goes into the bottle. Not sure if this is a fluke or if it will keep happening. Regardless, it’s not a big deal to me.The conditioner is milky white in color. It has a consistency similar to other conditioners. It has a very pleasant, refreshing, natural scent mixed in with maybe a sweet floral essence. I can’t describe it exactly, but I like it a lot. At first it smelled pretty strong to me, but in the shower it wasn’t overpowering at all. After drying my hair I could still smell it, though at a very light intensity, which was perfect.I love that this conditioner has no parabens nor artificial colors, and is cruelty free. It worked well for me on the first try, which is very impressive! It feels like it has nourished my hair. I’m really very happy with this product.
