Perfect
Purchased this for italy. In case of rain it held 2 windbreaker type rain jackets. Plus items needed while site seeing. I'm going to purchase another so we each (husband and I) will have one.

Perfect day hiking
This little pack on my back was perfect for my trip of day hiking through Zion, Bryce, and the Grand Canyon.

Priced a tad high...
This is a nice, lightweight backpack that I think fits right in the middle of something really small (like a 15L) and the beginning of the serious backpacks that seem to weigh a half pound by themselves. This is made from a thin (I think nylon) material that keeps it light...but, also means it isn't a heavy duty backpack made to be stuffed with books or heavy items (although it might hold up to it, I wouldn't try and use it for that purpose). Of course if you need a backpack like this, you are looking at the wrong item.We got this for the wife when we go riding on our eBikes for the day and want to carry along some lunch, water and our cell phones (for two). Definitely too large if you were just using it for yourself (since then you could probably get away with a 15L size). But great for two people (or I guess for 1 that wants to carry more than just lunch and water). You could use this for a day hike...but not for anything serious (of course I would hope you would know that just by looking at it).The purple color is just what the wife likes. The shoulder straps have padding and it has a chest strap to help keep it in place. The material I think is water resistant since water seems to bead off of it. I didn't test if it was waterproof (don't plan on using it in the rain so water resistant is fine with us). The rear pocket serves as the backpacks storage by inverting the backpack into it (as can be seen in the pic). This is great since you don't have to worry about an extra storage bag to lose (or pay more for) and it's always there. This is a nice backpack well suited for it's intended use...I just think $29.99 (price at time of review) is a tad high when considering this IS a lightweight backpack and I've seen more heavy duty ones sell for the same amount. I'm also not saying this is overpriced since I think you'll still be happy with it. Just would've been a full 5 stars had it been closer to $24.99 instead.

Nice and light. Useful features
We are going on a cruise later this summer and I wanted a lightweight pack I could stick in my luggage that wouldn't take up much room. I think this pack will work very nicely. It unpacks from its pouch easily. The material is sturdy, not flimsy. However, it isn't a real heavy material like the pack I usually take on hikes. Also, the zippers are lightweight plastic, and not metal zippers like on my other pack. However, they're sturdy enough for what they have to do. It's a trade off; my hiking pack is heavy and bulky, while this one is lightweight and folds down into a small pouch. The main compartment is large enough to fit my 10" x 15" laptop (see picture) but anything larger would be a tight fit. There are two useful sized zippered external pockets on the back, and two web-style water bottle holders. They will hold my 32 oz water bottles. There are two big non-zippered pockets on the inside and two small mesh pockets for things like wallets or phones. I like that they included buckled strap loops on each side for quickly attaching a jacket or walking staff. The useful chest strap rides high up on the chest and my wife says it's high enough to avoid her sensitive parts. There's even a little whistle incorporated into the chest strap buckle. It does not have a belt strap, which I'm sad about because I like belt straps. However, this pack is intended only for light loads so in truth, a belt strap wouldn't be all that useful. Still, I'd kind of like one.The bottom outside pocket is also the pouch that the pack folds into when you're ready to stow it. It's a little tricky the first time you do it, but it's easy once you figure it out. The first thing you do is turn this pocket inside-out and then flip the pack over so the back is facing up. Then the pack just folds into the pouch and you're done. See the pictures on the product page. It's easier than it sounds. Overall, it's a nice little pack to take on day hikes when the weather is good and you don't need to take a lot of junk with you. I think it'll work great for our cruise when we dock and do short day hikes or picnics.

Quite useful on-the-go backpack
My wife thought that I was being silly when I picked this up. I just said it was a little sack, and I threw it in my truck. One day, we went to the library, and I threw it in my back pocket. The kids picked up so many books, that we ran out of space with our little bags, and I busted this thing open. For such a compact little package, it opens up to a GIANT backpack almost immediately. And just as quickly, it folds back down into a little thick sandwich bag-sized package.

Packable, lightweight and great features.
I LOVE Waterfly's products. I have some other 20L traveling packs from them that I use as daypacks for hiking, so I was so pleased to be able to find a 25 L pack that would be great for day trips and vacations when I need "more" than just the essentials. The color is bright and vibrant, and I love that this folds up into itself for storage in my basement, but also in my suitcase or vacation gear. I find it easily, throw it into my packing gear and it's so easy to bring along. This particular pack has some additional straps that clip so I can attach additional gear, and I love that there is a chest strap and it includes a safety whistle as well. The shoulder straps are not super padded, but have a breathable mesh that makes the contact with your back and shoulders a little bit more bearable. Overall, Waterfly's packs are my favorite go to for bringing along gear when I don't want to purchase the most expensive gear out there.
