Great for smoking!!
I recently bought East Oak electric smoker, and I was in the market for a good smoking chips, that's does not blacken out the meat.Camerons All Natural Oak Wood Chips is definitely the one that has a mild flavor and gives an amazing smoke. The taste of smoking meat, is out of this world. Chips are not too big, so you can load them up in any size container in any smoker. The pack is big enough that can last you a few rounds. Highly recommend these!!

Love to Smoke With Oak
Adds great flavor. A little pricey compared to food grade pellets.

Wood Chips worked great
This was my first time trying to smoke seafood. We did salmon (middle piece) and swordfish (cut in half horizontally), and were very pleased with the results. Began by soaking the chips (also added small amt. of apple wood) for approx. 30 minutes, then put them under the grate in a regular propane grill "smoker box" bought at Sears.Put the fish on a double aluminum pan (holes on top, catch tray underneath from the dollar store). Keeping the lid down on the grill, it took probably 40 minutes to cook thoroughly (began checking at 20 min. then every 10 min. thereafter). Both salmon and swordfish were very tender and had a hint of mild smoky flavor, just enough for the four of us.Give it a try, for the first attempt, we were all pleased with the outcome.
