First off, this sword is beautifully made. Very well balanced and razor sharp. The Damascus pattern in the blade is one of the prettiest I’ve seen. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a true weapon not just a decoration. I love it.The weight is perfect. Able to move it quickly and still complete control. The grip feels great in the hand and it fits the hand in a way that you shouldn’t have to worry about it slipping during training or battle. If it does come out of your hand it’s because you let it go.

I have been training with and collecting Japanese swords for awhile, and I know what to look for in a quality katana. This company makes excellent, useable, genuine swords. Their crafting is perfect, the blades are strong, high quality, and have beautiful patterns. The materials used are genuine samegowa and Japanese silk (or cotton) depending on the sword, and these are all things you want to look for in a quality piece. A company doesn't waste genuine materials on crappy blades, and high quality blades are not wrapped in cheap materials. This company offers the absolute best for the best price! I have several of their swords and swear by them. Don't be fooled by the pricing, these are very good quality!! I highly recommend them!

I studied Bushido, and for the price, this Katana is a massive bargain! It is sturdy, the blade is truly functional, the handle is solid, the tsuba is sturdy and well fit. The balance is superb. This Katana would be cherished by Stephen K. Hayes himself in my humble opinion. The high carbon steel is top quality and since the swordmaker is using better steel than even the sword masters of ancient Japan had to work with, itvis sturdier and holds an edge. Others my goff at this Katana simply because of its price. But, price is not always what matters. You can spend thousands on a Katana and still not get a better one than this. This isca combat ready Ninja Katana and is NOT a toy. The edge is razor sharp.

Razor sharp, beautiful patterning, light weight but not to light and well balanced.One can tell that some pride of craftsmanship has gone into this blade.The only critique thus far. Is that the blade is not as snugg fitting in the sheath as it could be. It will shake loose if being held upside down. One should want a perfect balance of quick release and cemented grip to the sheath.Best blade I've ever had at this price point.Overall very satisfied.

Super solid. Tight fittings, sharp and beautiful. I got kurobara blade oil to go with it. If you're looking for a legit ninjato this is certainly a great quality option.

Razor sharp, full tang, solid pegs in hilt, laced on black hilt end, solid, well balanced.Thicker toward the guard (along the hilt) making for surprisingly effective control despite the weight, considering the length of the sword since it is not curved.Blade becomes slightly less thick as it goes toward the tip and is balanced in such a way that it can absorb a massive amount of impact down the rest of the blade, without breaking.Like a baseball bat with a blade, good for the price as well.This blade will deliver deep and devastating slashes, especially the last 10 inches of the blade and has quite a pointy tip for puncturing.Good work.

This is a very good sword for the money. Well built with decent steel. The Damascus patterning is beautiful. Nice weight and balanced well also. I will say with this being high carbon steel, you want to make sure to keep oil or wax on the blade to prevent it from rusting. Would recommend to someone looking for a solid Ninjato. 5/5 stars.
