AeroMarine Rock and Pebble Paving Epoxy Resin Kit 1.5 gallons

I have used a variety of different materials for mold making, casting and gluing. I've used mostly Smooth-on products but have tried others as well. This by far is the cleanest, easiest to use, to clean up and is the most versatile. I feel like I could use this for anything. It dries completely clear. It cures fairly quickly but has a long enough pot life to allow you to work with it. It's color and consistency can also be easily adjusted. As an added better bonus it has almost no odor and is not nearly as toxic to breathe in as polyeurathane or other common materials. It's also cheaper. I doubt I will ever use any other resin again.

I purchased this epoxy for repair of my "Nature Stone" type driveway and walkway. The product works as advertised but there are less expensive alternatives available from vendors who formulate epoxies specifically for binding small gravel [pea sized] to form pavement or coatings on pavement. Also, this product does not include any inhibitor to prevent UV light degradation which is an issue with most epoxies. Those specifically formulated by vendors for outdoor paving may have such inhibitors. I found one in Florida. Also, note that shipping charges can be significant for these products.

Applied in a low traffic shady area. One year later. lost all glossiness, needs a new application

Used this product for the last two years on my pebbledeck pool deck. The product is thinner than other epoxies I have used which makes it easier to apply but simply does not last and needs to be reapplied every year even though they say 3-5 years for reapplication. I have contacted tech support several times and they tell me to buy spar varnish and apply on top of their product to protect from UV rays. I find that unacceptable. I live in NH and the product performed even worse with the record rain we endured this summer as the protection faded quickly this year due to the excess moisture.I will not be using this again. If anyone knows of a better product, please forward.
